College management is good but need to improve in the process. They are very sloe to run a process need to accelerate it. otherwise it is good management.

WBJEE rank - 9813 from counseling I have taken the admission. It was very smooth process admission cell was very helpful.

Course is based on the syllabus by MAKAUT (formerly WBUT). first year you need to study all the mandatory subjects. 2nd year onwrds you move on in to your stream, 50 practicals and 52 theoretical papers were there in 4 years 8 semester course is very good, you will learn 6 programming languages like C,JAVA,C++,VB,DOT NET,Shell scripting.

So many companies provide internship. like IBM, Ericsson, TCS, Wipro, Capgemeni, lots of MNC provides the internship here.

All most 80% students have been placed in differnt differnt organisation throughout the world. Ericsson, IBM, CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra are doing on campus and recruit lots of students. Some other organization also do the pull campus like NIVL, TATA steel,. Tata motors, Syntel, L&T, L&T info-tech. They also recruit students from RCCIIT.

Tech fest was the technical events of RCCIIT. Lots of students outside the organization used to participate there. its happened once in a year. A welcome party arranged by 2nd year student for freshers named Bihan. It is very funny event. one cultural fest taken place once in a year named Regalia. 2 days program it was. one renowned singer and renowned band performed in this program.

Now the fee structure has been changed: 1st semester - 62500, 2nd semester - 35000, 3rd semester - 36000, 4th semester - 36000, 5th semester - 37000, 6th Semester - 37000, 7th semester - 38000, 8th Semester - 38000 library fees 2000 for every year and exam fees 1000 for every semester. No additional charges taken by the college.

Yes there is TFW scheme as per WB govt and there is tuition fees waiver scheme present in the college for poor but brilliant students. Based on the result and family annual income this facility has been provided by college management.

Gender ratio is 60 (Male) - 40 (female) football, cricket tournament taken place in the college. It is a ragging free campus. No politics in the campus inter college and intra college cricket football tournament taken place Table tennis is very famous in RCC IIT RPL is a internal football tournament which is very good and funny for the students.

Hostel Facilities does not provide by the college you can find mess outside the college campus for residence.

Seniors are very friendly and helpful. always they guide freshers for their future and studies. in any difficulties seniors back the juniors. It is a very good culture of RCCIIT.

They are are two internal exams before each semester with 30 marks.and university paper was 70 marks. total 100. best of 2 internal marks is added in your final. total 8 semester over there, one in December and one in June. results were published twice in a year.

Need to attend counseling organized bu WBJEE. after that need to go college with demand draft and all the original and photocopy of testimonials, then according to the process got the admission from admin cell. You need to pay the full fees of first semester with the time of admission. Guardian is not required. College staff will guide you with all the details.

Faculties are very good and helpful specially in CSE department. They help and guide a lot. In every situation they guide and help you a lot. Special guidance has been provided for campus interview and softskill by faculties. They are very friendly.
