IIM Bodh Gaya review

IIM Bodh Gaya is doing great right from its inception which helped me decide that I want to pursue my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IIM Bodh Gaya. The admission process also was very sorted which had cat percentile-based shortlisting, WAT and PI.

IIM Bodh Gaya has great course curriculum with course structure updated with current educational and corporate trends. They also have a good faculty to student ratio which is 1:60. The 2 years MBA program has a total of 6 semesters each of which has 2 quizzes, midterm and end-term examinations for each subject along with projects and project presentations.

Internships are going on on campus and till now 50+ small and large companies came there are few big names like Jio and BNY, Agrawal mover packer and several new startups also come offering roles for Marketing, Operation, HR. The stipend is also average and we are hopeful that the SIP process will be over by Feb end. One has to clear interviews and tasks for getting SIP.

Placement of the last batch got affected a little bit due to covid conditions then also average placement stands at 11 LPA. Several good companies come to the college offering wide roles for each specialization. The placement of the last batch was almost done by may month. I have a plan of joining any MNC in my placement.

Fees structure of the college includes all the academic charges hostel fees career development fees books and exam fees. Each term the fees that have to be paid is 1,79,000 and thus a total of 10.74 lac should be paid in total for six terms. The scholarship which is provided by the college are govt-funded and is available for ews and reserve category.

Given the ongoing pandemic scenario, the first two semesters were taken online in order to obey the covid protocols. Although the college started calling students on campus in the batches of 50 students after whose arrival 14-day quarantine protocols were also followed. And life at the campus is also great. They have facilities of different clubs and committees which make IIM Bodh Gaya a student-driven college.

The hostel is situated inside the college campus there are 3 hostels 2 hostels are for boys and one is for girls. 24x7 water facilities, mess services, common room and sports court are there on the campus. Night canteen is also available in the college. No such separate registration is needed hostel fees is included in the college fees. The menu changes from time to time and food services are excellent with 4 meals a day. Washroom and rooms are properly cleaned and Gym facilities are also in each hostel. The room is well decorated and is single occupancy rooms.

IIM Bodh Gaya has a very sorted admission process which has three stages in it. The stages comprised of shortlisting on the basis of CAT percentile, Written Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview.
