IIM Kashipur - Nature's IIM

Being an IIM has always had an edge over other B-schools in India. With a minimal fee of 15 lacs and an average placement of 13.7 lacs, this new IIM with active and lush green campus life lured me to opt for this college.

The course has been vivid in terms of subjects and faculties being extremely proficient in making us understand the basic nitty-gritty of management. They have been teaching us with case studies and live example in the corporate world. It is an exhilarating experience and an enriching one.

There are different opportunities available Summer internships have been successfully conducted with 100% placements. Also, the Live projects are being floated continuously for corporate exposure to the batch much before going for summers.

With an average placement of 13.7 lacs, and growing this year. IIM Kashipur has been working hard at nailing the placements down for each and every student of the batches. The opportunities that were floated by the Placement cell catered to all the students and hence we reached 100% placements in Summers. The companies visited were more than 120 and the opportunities exceeded the number of students. Highest Stipend offered - 1.23 Lacs/Month

Fees structure is relaxed into 6 payments, which can be paid easily through education loans. Campus jobs and internship opportunities are fine as being new IIM, we cant build on the from some reputed companies of the world. But decent opportunities were provided to cater to all the students of the batch.

IIM Kashipur just celebrated the 10th year of foundation and has been running its beautiful red-brick, lush green campus with various student bodies being the embodiment of administration. The campus is totally student driven and decisions are for and with the consensus of students. Agnitraya 7.0 - the annual cultural, management, sports fest has been celebrated in one of the grandest yet online way possible, this year. There are regular exhibitions of books that are approached by students and are brought into the library accordingly. AC Classrooms, hygienic and spacious hostels, playgrounds and a 200 Acre campus with lakes and nature blooming amidst mountains makes the life at IIM Kashipur wonderful. 24 clubs and committees run by Kaspians are a major players in making a student driven campus.

Hostels are beautiful with spacious single rooms. The mess is charged per month but has wonderful food for all of the month covered. There are 2 canteens, with all the food and basic amenities that you may require in the middle of the night or dawn.

We had WAT/PI as the process went on. WAT was held at the interview centre just before the interview. WAT topic was related to some of the events that were round the corner in 2019. We had to write 300 words as the WAT which had 25% weightage. After WAT, we were interviewed by one of the nine panels, I personally had a calm interview where they discussed my job, hobbies and some current affairs. It was an interactive interview rather being a grilling one.
