Remarks

College knew only money. Don't go to any college in West Bangal under WBUT, all are bad especially engg. college.

Entrance Preview

I had taken WBJEE and scored 17271, Opted for this college because saw a good review about camp-using. And this college was not very old at that time, so thought may be it would be a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The College is under WBUT (West Bengal university of Technology) board, which itself is not a good course. I came to understand all at third year when I faced a teacher from IIT. The course is not good at all and even the books referd by WBUT and college faculties were not good.

Internships Opportunities

No, college don't have any interest towards this every thing is done by students college only knows money, we had to do all. The college was neither interested nor responsible.

Placement Experience

1.5

Yes, I was placed in TCS. But I am One of the 80 out of 350 students who got placed only in TCS that year. That we got joining after 9 months. If the students are very hard working then only 20% have the chance to be placed in some IT companies if recession is not there.

College Events

0.5

One tech fest was there n my whole 4 years, thats it. Only one event in entire 4 years management did not want events as they needed money it was a poor college to arrange any events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Less than other colleges like KITS or VIT but quite expensive than the facilities provided by the college, from both side faculty as well as the hostel the college was neither interested nor responsible for any good of students. They know money only. At my time it was approx. 40,000/ per semester.

Campus Life

1

Boys and girls had 70:30 ratio and hypocrite environment in college no, college don't have any interest towards anything. Every thing was done by students. College only knows money, we had to do all. The college was neither interested nor responsible. Hostel in timingsfor both was 6pm.

Hostel Facilities

1

It had 3 sharing in first two years and 2 sharing in second year. It was like a cheap dharamshala, common bath rooms, only required bad and lockers in each rooms and a fan thankfully. And top floors would be extremely hot foods were not eatable at all.

Alumni/Alumna

No, college don't have any interest towards anything. Every thing was done by students. College only knows money, we had to do all the college was neither interested nor responsible.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is according to WBUT, the college has nothing to do with it. Exams and labs were hectic even if the students were not taught, it never matters. They put all attension on exams, whether students know anything or not, they should not cheat.

Faculty

1

Only Few Faculties were good. Most of the faculties were not knowledgeable and they did not have much interest in teaching too. Has one good teacher from IIT only for a month, but later he had to resign because he demanded for the lacking resources in the college to reach students.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
