My thoughts about IIM Bodhgaya

I got IIM Bodhgaya through CAP process through which I converted Kashipur, Bodhgaya, Jammu and Sambalpur out of which I chose IIM Bodhgaya because of its mentorship under IIM Calcutta, good ROI and it's an emphasis on mindfulness. I referred Pagal guy and mentorship programme of IIM Bodhgaya for knowledge about the college. Additionally, I talked to seniors for getting the actual knowledge about the college.

I chose the PGDM course because of the career growth also a business degree will help me to have a managerial post easily in any company. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Professors are really qualified and supportive. They gave real industry examples which help to know about the concept better. In every term, one midterm and one end term exam happen. It is moderately difficult to pass the exam because of the case-based questions.

Yes, the college provides great internship opportunities the roles are for business development executive strategy and a finance intern. The task and interview process depending on the requirement of the company. One needs to clear all the process to get into the company and after the successful internship, there is a fair chance of getting PPO from the company.

Placement is excellent and best among baby IIMs with a good ROI. The college offers diverse roles for different specialization like marketing, hr, finance, operations. Last year close to 100 percent placement was there. The year to students are expecting that big company like BNY Mellon, Kotak Mahindra, SBI general and others visited the college for campus placement.

Fees are quite affordable and every term one has to pay 1,79,000 and total of 10.74 lac in two years it includes career development fees, academic charges and hostel fees. Financial assistance is available in college it comes through government but it is available for both meritorious and reserved category students.

We had our annual fest Elegante which is a grand affair with a footfall of 2-3k students. College also conducts different managerial summits like TEDx, Yes and HR conclave. Our CSR club Pragati is really active and has great initiative like Tarakki for children of labour case. There are 13 clubs and 10 committees and the college is fully student-driven.

Hostel facility is awesome with good residential and food facilities. The quality of food is good with diverse dishes and rooms are also very spacious and single occupancy with proper maintenance. There is no separate registration for a hostel it is mandatory for every student to stay inside the campus.

Yes, I faced the written ability test and interview before the final selection. I did not prepare specifically as such but I had a fair idea of it because of my previous attempt so I religiously read current affairs also I had basic knowledge about my under graduation and I give one mock interview before the final one.
