Many well-named companies visit this college during campus placement for mechanical students and as per my survey, this college provides a good placement for mechanical students. Besides that, the college gives the opportunity to work on different projects related to mechanical engineering and mainly focuses on practical implementation and provides high-quality equipment for hand inexperience. Admission to this college is done through JEE Main and WBJEE marks. Also if you sit and qualify for the IEMJEE exam which is conducted every year then also you can get admission to this college. As mentioned earlier the hand in experience is provided with high-quality equipment for benefit in the industrial sector. Also, proper guidance is given for better learning. There are two websites in total one is uem.edu which anyone can access to know more about the college and the other is iemcrp which is used for college purpose.

To be honest, I do not like programming coding and all and I am weak in it and the trend is basically computer science nowadays. From my teenage, I had a dream of becoming a mechanical engineer and this is the reason for me to select this course, Beside that mechanical engineering provides more opportunity to get government jobs. The total strength in our stream is 50 and the number of teachers provided is quite in good number the ratio is 50:50. The faculties are highly qualified and many of them has industry experience and few of them are related to the industry project. Besides that, they provide a hand in experience and shows the practical implementation of each and everything. In total in a year there are 4 term exams that is 2 term exams are conducted per semester and regularly attending the class will help you to score got marks.

7th semester is the ideal time from when the students can sit for the campus placement. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Adobe, TCS, Wipro, Infosys and many other reputed companies visit every year to recruit students from our campus. The highest package recorded is 36lpa and the average package ranges between 4-5lpa. The number of offers is between 1-2 for the majority of them. The record of students getting placed is 95% and above that which is quite good. I am looking for higher studies after completing the degree and then for some government job.

For every stream, the semester fees are the same that is Rs 65,000 per semester and the cost is quite reasonable looking at the facilities and proper training they are providing. The scholarship is provided to the students getting above 85% of marks in their 12th grade.

The annual fest takes place in the month of February which is named the EDU Fest and the big tech fest is conducted in the month of January called the Smart Maker's Festival. Library holds the best area in the college as it can be avail anytime throughout the year and even you can spend a whole day in the library doing something productive. Whenever and whichever book is required library will not disappoint you in providing the book. Our stream holds 50 students and the classroom size with respect to the number is quite big and even clean too provided with a projector and green board with proper ventilation. Sports is conducted in the month of February with lots of energy and enthusiasm and with many exciting events taking place. There are painting club, sports club, dancing club and many other clubs which are taken care of by the students and they are in charge.
