RCPIT An Overview

I choose for R C PATEL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Shirpur, affiliated with DBATU UNIVERSITY. College is NBA Grade A Accredited. I Selected this because it is New Technological University in Maharashtra and good college with Helpful Staff. There is best campus with environment helpful for studying. Many facilities like Library, digital library, WiFi Campus, Internet CAD labs, Well Equipped Practical labs, Digital Class room with SmartBoards, AC classrooms, Bus facilities, Online Classes for Distance Students (in Pandemic). All things are like which one student expect from Engineering college. Highest placement offers in North Maharashtra region and much help for placements. Only one low point is the college region is not urban area. It's is small town but very classy.

All the curriculum is according to the course and DBATU UNIVERSITY, LONERE, MAHARASHTRA. I choose the course Mechanical engineering because it is core branch of Technology and much more diversified opportunities are available after degree completion. College staff is good. And faculty: students ratio is around 1:16. All faculty is highly qualified with M.Tech and PhD and many along with industrial experience and teaching experience of average 10 years. Teaching methods are practically based and two way communication teching. There are Two Unit Exams and One Final exam. Viva and practical exam for according subjects. Grading method is CGPA method. Passing is on 40/100 marks for each subject. Difficult level is dependent on Paper setter. But students will sure pass if studied well.

RCPIT TNP Cell (Training and Placement Cell) handles all the placement and training, internship related affairs of college. Placement facilities are available for bachelors and 3rd year students. And internship are available for students directly training in college campus by students group. College encourage students for Post graduation, Placement training, Government exams, competitive exams, startup, entrepreneur ship. There is special startup cell is there for students those who are willing to start there own business. Companies take online placement tests and interview.

Many friends group forms and staff also helps. All college is available online. Students and staff what's app groups are made for each class and year. Annual fest is there Named - Reflection (in second semester winter). Annual tech fest is arranged named - Converges (in first semester summer). Other sports events are arranged accordingly with availability of requirements. There are around 70000- books available in Library with 50 Technical Journal. 7 newspaper of 3 languages are made available daily in reading room. There is reading, study hall facilities available. Hostel facility is available for boys and girls of college. Extra curricular activities including poster presentation, painting competition, technical and other non technical event are taken as per speciality of Day. There is Facebook page of College and Many students run Instagram page.

According to Reservation Catagory by Indian government:- DTE board Total College Fees per Year Open - 110000/- OBC - 57000/- (50% paid by Govt.) SC/ST/NT/VJ - Around 15000/- (90%paid by Govt.) (Installment facility for fees payment is given According to Student and Family financial condition.) Many IT COMPANIES and other start-up companies, mechanical companies come for campus recruitment. Package given is around 2-3 LPA.

Hostel facility is available for Boys and girls of engineering college. Hostel is exactly infront of RCPIT college. There is total 430 boys and 600 girls capacity of hostel. Girls hostel is also near to college campus. There are 3 students in room according to branch and year wise. Facilities are wardrobe for each student with table, chair, bed, pillow, wifi facility, hot water in winter season, newspaper. For registration of hostel parents affidavit is required and college admission confirmation is required. Rest are personal details which are taken by filling up form. Annual hostel fees is 32000 along with lunch only. Dinner is optional. For which you have to pay 8k for whole year, or you can take dinner and many private mess available. If not affordable then you can also rent a room with your friends. And mess are also available. Many rent rooms are available near by college.

There is no formal interview process by Government centralised admission process. But according to college management and it's requirements the staff conduct interviews and personal interview for overview of admitting students.
