BDS in hi-tech

This college is having best administration among all dental colleges of Odisha. The study methodology is really good. The college focus very good on practicals along with theory. Also this college is under government of Odisha and Utkal university.

BDS is most preferred ug program after MBBS. I was also interested in dentistry so have chosen BDS. Faculty students ratio is almost 1:15. All of the faculties are Post graduated and most of them are PhD holders. Teaching method is very good. They try to clear each and every concept unlike most of the professional colleges. Practical is absolutely good. There are 2 internal exams and one Universit professional exams per year. For the difficulty in passing the exams, I must say if you study no doubt you'll pass easily.

Unlike engineering colleges there is no campus selection for BDS. You'll get a job in private sector or get govt job after clearing govt exams. Or after completion of degree you can get a Pg seat by giving neet pg exam for MDS.

Campus life is quite awesome. With the busy and hectic schedule you'll get a lot of fun in campus throughout the year. The first fest named CUSP starts from mid of December and continues Upto mid of January like for a month. During this period you'll have some classes not like regular (all) classes. You'll get chance to participate in a lot of competitions and extracurricular activities. A lot of indoor and outdoor games. Especially cricket and badminton. Then in the last three days you'll be having culture programs from 5pm of the evening to mid of the night. In those three days you'll get a lot of delicious foods and a lot of cultural programs. There is star night in which you'll witness live performance of stars. Then you'll have 1st internal exam. After some days of cusp and internal exams you'll be enjoyed HCL (hi-tech cricket League) and HFL (hi-tech football league). Those go for like 15 days. Then in may you'll be having 2nd internal exam. Then in the month of September you'll be having university professional exams.

As of now course fees are 300000/- per annum. If you are enrolled with this fees structure you will pay this much amount per year for the entire course. Even if fees are increased after you enrolled with this much of course fees, then you don't have to pay increase amount. The new batch students will pay increased fees. There are a lot of scholarships are available in NSP (national scholarship portal). You can avail any scholarship according to your eligibility through NSP. Or for paying your course fees you can avail a loan from any national Bank. The college itself provides loan letter through which you can avail loan from bank. After 4 year of study you'll do your internship in this college for which you'll be getting stipend. After completion of internship now you'll be a qualified doctor. So you can do a job or open a clinic or go for pg.
