Remarks

I have choose this university because this guru nanak dev university has good placements which is nearly 85%. In CS branch almost all students get placed. So that's why I have choose this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science from here. I am a 3rd year student. All the teachers in our college are very nice. All are very gentle by their behaviour. Our teaching department has very good teachers. Some teachers have more than 15 years of experience in their subjects. Nearly all are PHd holders. Teachers are so good that sometimes if the whole class is in the mood of not taking the class then our teachers give us holiday. They are very nice. Our seniors also guide us.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 354400 per year

Placement Experience

College is very nice in terms of placements. CSE branch has nearly 90% placements. But also not CSE, other branches have very good placements too. The highest package was around 19 lakhs whereas the average salary package is around 3-4 lakhs per annum. This package is not so large but it is pleasant here. Now I am in 3rd year and not know much about placement process, but our placement staff will tell us about all this from our 3rd year beginning. College is very supportive.

College Events

Campus life is moderate. There are many extra curricular activities performed in our college. Any interested student can take part in these. Coding clubs are here. University is very neat and clean. Also it is vey safe and it is located in amritsar, punjab.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

To give it clear picture i ll rate the curriculum based on the standard followed by tier-1 institutes like iits overall the relavamce is high but requires a lot of self drive 1. relivance and comprehensive the curriculum is designed around first principles instead of teaching how to use specific software this dept make it os comprehensive 2. exam frequency and difficulty the exam system is marthon not a sprint you are constantly being tested

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed
