A Balanced and Practical College Experience

Likes

The teacher were knowledgeable and supportive. They explained subjects clearly.
The campus environment was friendly and safe.
B.com curriculum covered all subjects like accounting, finance, and mangement.

Dislikes

Placement support and internships opportunities was limited.
The infrastructure, classroom and library services was basic.
The course more focus on theory. Practical training would have in real world skill development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course for its strong focus on accountng and finance. The cirriculum was relavant and compreshive, helpful for higher studies. Exams were semester wise moderate . More practical tarining and case studies are needed.

Likes

The thing that I liked in college is that the environment of my college is very good the people are also good and the Teachers faculty and other things also good but the main thing I liked about the colleges the structure of the college and the area
The people are very friendly here and also supportive and all teachers are very good and education is also very good it means very very good
The last thing I liked about my college is my college has very much canteens and fest happens at every month in any of the department and they provide us opportunities to experience what we are capable of

Dislikes

The second thing I dislike about the college is the schedule of the exam that they do not do it properly it means the gap should be little bit more longer
Dislike about my college is that college faculty do not give the hostel to those student who are around 60 40 km because they have to travel from home

Placement Experience:

The college placement of my college is very good they provide me number of opportunities from the different companies they take test and then group discussion and everything that happens and the main things that many of the companies are coming right now and they take many of the student that are capable for their companies before that before that teacher also prepare us for the interviews they take our classes for the interviews that companies are coming they prepare us the best that we can provide to the company

Engagement with campus life was just amazing and social life became more interactive and interesting
Teaching methods are more effective and realistic

Course Curriculum Overview:

-This course is effective for all the students who is approaching to be a teacher - real life reinforcement - prepare for real world through real life lessons -they should improve the uniforms - timings of exams depend upon the question in the exams

Integrated MBA at GNDU: Fees, Placement and Campus Life Breakdown

Likes

The teachers are understanding and help alot before exams
The university allows liberty to students to host events and fest with just a few permissions and restrictions. But students are encouraged and supported by teachers completely.
The infrastructure is also decent for students and classes also have projectors for digital understanding of various business topics.

Dislikes

The access to department library is limited. It has certain timings so students have to go to whole other way from the department to the main library which is time consuming
The exams are held twice with less time gap and thus syllabus sometimes is completed in a hurry
The canteen doesn't have any healthy food options and sometimes lack hygiene

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester or 4th year. Many companies like HDFC, ICICI, Local companies and firms visit for placement drive for various roles. The average package offered by university is around ?3-4 lakhs but only 30-40% of students successfully secure the on-campus placements.

4 year journey of me with my second home GNDU

Likes

Behaviour of teacher and campus vibe and greenery
Cleanliness everywhere and peace everywhere with birds chirping
Everything is available inside the uni. Whether it's mandir , gurdwara,masjid,shops ,canteens everything.

Dislikes

The hostel are not goods and there maintence is not top notch
They lack to give basic amenities like good drinking water poor hygienic food
They donot give amenities to reach to our department via bus or something there are buses but there time donot match or department schedule

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

Overall decent college but need several improvements

Likes

The proffesors are knowledgable and approachable. Most have phd experience which helps in practical knowledge.
Campus life is quite engaging with various student clubs and various events happening throughout the year.
Various sports events are held yearly for students so that they can focus on outdoor activites also.

Dislikes

The computer labs are worst. Some computers are not working.
It does not has any facility like college bus. Its hard to travel to college. A bus must be appointed for students.
College parking is not good. It has very less space to park vehicles.

Placement Experience:

Students in semester 7 become eligible for placements. Tcs , aacenture , josh technology geneally visits our college. Previous year from a batch of 60 students. 30 students were placed . The highest package was of 10 lpa provided by josh technology and average package is 4lpa provided by tcs. Mostly 60-70 % students are placed in companie during placements. After getting degree i plan doing masters from iit . I have applied for gate exam for masters and preparing for it.

The Truth

Likes

I liked the environment. The whole campus is surrounded by trees and plants.
They conduct a lot of workshops and seminars.
Hostel is also provided for the students along with personal parking space.

Dislikes

It's a bit far from the city and its takes some time to travel.
The amount of Post graduate degrees is quite less.
Placements are also quite rare which makes it harder for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It includes a variety of subjects which I was really impressed with. Subjects like Management information Systems, AI, E-commerce are taught along with the main subjects like Web designing,C,C++,Java etc. The subjects are practically taught which prepares the students for real word applications.

Likes

It's location as it is easy for students to reach out.
It locates at just 5 min. distance from bus stand.
Ragging free campus and college environment so engaged with nature with greenery all around

Dislikes

Wifi quality not so good improvement needed in this aspect.
Infrastructure of some departments are also not so fine.
Placement services not so available but the placement cell available where you can get the information about the job availablity

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum relevant. Provide with practical and theoretical knowledge. But needs some improvement with the teaching method. That is need of some projector in the classrooms. Besides this overall course curriculum and everything else regarding course is relevant and the study material for each subject available too.

Affordable Fee structure with helpful SC scholarship support.
Supportive and knowledgeable faculty encouraging interactive learning.
Opportunities for personal growth through NCC and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

Scholarship doesn't cover books and travel expenses.
Limited internship opportunities during the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have enrolled in BA course so during the lectures we have to give introduction ab0out the topic first what we had know then we will have full fledged lecture by our faculty adter having an interactive discussion.

The infrastructure and faculty is good, they should focus on preparing students with in demand job skills

I like the infrastructure and the greenery in the college
Teachers were highly qualigfied, most of them taught really well but a few didnt want to teach
The placement drives were conducted but the college doenst prepare students with the job skills that are in demand

Dislikes

The curriculum is outdated especially of computer science
Teachers need to be enthusiastic while teaching
Students should be prepared for in demand skills that can make them job ready

The curriculum of maths, chemistry was good but the curriculum of computer science needs to be updated asit doest prepare us for real world applications. Focus is on theoretical knowledge only, but in real world one needs to have skills and practical knowledge
