I found that the review of the university is very good. I searched about it in many sites and talked with the passed out students and the seniors about the university. The response is positive. The college is a little strict compared to others and also well disciplined. The ranking is very good. Placements are good. The only negative thing people find about the college is there is no hostel facility. But there are many hostels around the college. So hostel is not a big issue.

I am studying BTech at sastra, src, kumbakonam. The education is quite good. The main thing about the village is it's placement record. 99% of the students get placed in different companies in their final year of graduation. Soft skills and other requirements of a student to get placed in a good company are taught here. Coming to fees it is comparatively reasonable than the other institutions.

Students from sixth semester are eligible for placements. Many companies like cognizant, wipro, infosys,musigma, capgemini, gelato, tcs, cts and some more companies visit the college. The highest package can be 17 lakhs. Most of the students gets placed in different companies with a great package of salary which is satisfactory. Many of the students choose sastra because of its placement percentage and strictness.

The college life is quite normal we live in pg. There is no college hostel for src campus. We go to library after the college hours if there is any work regarding to book verification. Every year theta is celebrated. It is a tech fest. Extra curricular activities are also conducted with some celebrities. NCC, NSS are available. We have very friendly atmosphere with seniors. They help in every aspect like studies, or some other things.

Fees is not very much compared to other colleges. Scholarship is provided. We can apply for scholarships with respect to the eligibility criteria. Campus jobs are the main advantage if one joins here. If a student has no backlogs he can be placed in a company. If student has very good academic performance he can be placed in a very good company with great package.
