One of my relatives were already studying in this college and during admissions I did not have much idea about good colleges around for my just average scores, so they suggested that this would be a good choice. So I got in during the last CAP round
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this college because it was fairly good for my average scores in the state CET exam. The faculty is good and a lot of teachers are PhD or pursuing PhD and experienced. The exams mostly depend on university timings but the faculty prepare you well for them
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 7th term for campus placement. Our TnP cell performes various activities to improve our chances of getting placed in good companies. They conduct various classes and courses and training sessions with a class weekly to make sure that the students perform their best during interviews. The highest package from our college has been of 42Lakhs for a student who was selected by a Japanese company.
College Events
Social life is pretty cool here. Other than Ensemble, our annual fest there are a lot of small small events year round and good involvement is there on students part as well. The library is well equipped with a digital library as well. There are books for all subjects and you would most likely not need to buy any book from outside for any subject. The study material is ample. There are also racing teams in our college who participate in national level engineering games for go-kart, offroading and many more and have a prestigious name at those events. Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is generally the same around entire state, 73000 basic fees but you can avail govt scholarships if you are a CAP student and fit in the criterias. There is also the earn and learn program of the university. The scholarships are annual and have to be filled out at the start of the year and as much as 50% fees support is available.
