My overall experience is very good. It was life changing and important phase of my life. Management is pretty helpful and easily approachable. i made lot of friends and increased my network.I recommend all MBA aspirants to join this college.

CAT. I scored 94 percentile in CAT and attended the interview for IMT Ghaziabad.

Curriculum is latest and up to date as per current industry standards. Its more focused on helping us to acquire the skills required for working in corporate companies.and entrepreneurship. My electives are: Mergers Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring, Predictive Modelling , Quality Management & Six Sigma, Working Capital Management, Financial Services, Financial Statement Analysis and Business Valuation, Financial Econometric.

Yes, our college provides internship. There is indeed a internship week where top companies visit our campus and select students for internship. I was selected to work in Genpact in their risk division.My stipend was 20 k per month highest stipend offered was 1 lac per month and the company that offered it was SAP. Other companies that visited the campus were Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan etc.

Almost 95% of the batch was placed. Companies that visited were Credit Suisse - 10 lpa, JP Morgan - 8 lpa, KPMG - 8 lpa, Deloitte - 9 lpa, CTS - 14 lpa, Max life insurance - 12 lpa, De Shaw - 12 lpa, Accenture - 7.75 - 12 lpa, Motilal Oswal - 8 lpa, Latentview Analytics - 9 lpa, Facebook - 8 lpa, Google - 14 lpa, HSBC - 16+ lpa, Airtel - 18+ lpa. Average package was 9-10 lpa.

Lot of fests like- Chakravyuh - One of the most looked forward and keenly contested inter B-School events in the country it has always had its dash of glamour with the best and the brightest of Indian sport coming to motivate and cheer. The human spirit and the salience and good cheer that come with feats of physical excellence are put to view in adrenaline sapping sporting events. The toughest survive and teamwork, determination, physical fitness and sportsmen’s spirit is rewarded with victory and adulation. Tatva -This first of its kind event on the inter B-School landscape, recognizing and awarding the budding Managers on their application of theory and ideas in the corporate world during their Summer Internship Programme. It is a platform where the students from the best B- Schools in the country get together and share their experiences and learning from their Summer Projects. Passion - Passion is a journey of knowledge and experience with various management games and contests in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations, Information Technology, Strategy and International Business. It involves tasks that highlight the managerial aspects of life, while also offering a platform for the meeting of minds through quizzes and debates, music, live bands and drama. Corporate executives and celebrity guests interact with the participants and the audience to enhance the process of learning through the event. Wizebite, Conquest etc.

Expensive side. The Fees for IMT Ghaziabad PGDM 2016-18 Batch (latest batch) is Rs. 15,00,000 (inclusive of Admission Fee, Academic Fee, Hospitality charges, etc.). The total fee will be paid in 6 installments. One main advantage is that SBI Ghaziabad will give education loan to the candidates with interest rate as per market conditions. In 2013 i took 8 lac loan without submitting any mortgage to the bank. i was charged the interest at 11% per annum. You will not be charged any interest during the two years of study.

IMT Ghaziabad is a fully residential campus with 10 student-housing blocks. A separate block houses MDP participants. Students can opt for rooms that offer single or double occupancy. Facilities include WiFi access, laundry service and cleaning facility. The IMT mess, next to student residences is open every day and provides four meals. Students dining here can enjoy a little entertainment thanks to the LCD TVs provided specifically for this purpose. Those who get hungry in between can avail of the eats and drinks available at reasonable rates in the canteen which is open seven days a week.

Exams were a bit hectic because there were total 7 trimesters and each trimester is approximately 3 months of duration. one mid and final review were conducted for every trimester. I felt that syllabus was too lengthy to cover in 3 months. So we worked very hard to follow up and complete the syllabus in time. late night studies and group assignments were common.Our library was open almost all the day so most of the people read in library rather then hostel room. Exam questions were moderate i.e not too hard or easy. Evaluation of answer sheets was also moderate except two or three professors who were penurious in allotting marks to students. However, i would rate the overall exam structure as tough.

Faculty are senior personnel with deep industry experience. They guide us in our two years like close mentors. Few faculty even stay in campus and hence they can be approached any time in the day. Almost every faculty is a PhD holder. One of the Dubai campus faculty also worked as CAT convener and almost all the faculties are from IIMs. Even the faculty helped and worked along with students in publishing white papers and writing research papers or case studies which are later approved by Ivy league institutes like Harvard etc.
