Best college for engineering

College management did not really interfere with our day to day activities and events so nothing much to say about it.

This has higher ranking in terms of teaching and placements. Huge campus and plenty of activities to have fun.

Excellent the professors were good and teaching was awesome. Various extra projects and events to learn from courses were fun and exciting and also helpful for my Masters degree. Now that it is autonomous I think they might have improved it even more.

No there was no internships provided before but i think now they do but we could do it externally. As it is difficult to get paid internships in India.

There are few mass recruiters which places almost 90% of the students . So there is job security of having at least 1 job. There were many placement events on campus and a lot of companies had aptitude tests conducted throughout the final year. Even after graduation there are companies coming for people who are still yet to find a job.

There were two college fests technical Abhiyantriki and Cultural there were various sports events as well, then there were events by different student councils each. There were various workshops like android, aurdiuno there were other college events too.

Fees is expensive it started with 90 k with 10% increase in every year. Till last year it grew to up to 1.1 lac now it must be even high as figures i mentioned are old i graduated 2 years ago but the facilities provided where good enough, it was range and comparable to other good colleges.

There was tata scholarship provided to top 3 students, there may be student loan available i am not sure about it.

Gender ratio was around 11 girls to 40 boys in my class. It was equal i some other branches like IT computers and even less in mechanical there were a lot of robotics competitions and seminars held. there were extra curricular like quizzes, dance singing, acting etc.

Excellent food in diploma mess. At very cheap rate there was different menu each day and good quality food. I did not stay in hostel so not aware of its facilities but they looked good from outside. There are a lot of residence nearby so finding a PG would be easy as well.

There are various events held for alumnies in the college but i have not been able to attend any since I am in USA.

Labs where very hectic. There were two exams per semester apart from the university exams. They were pretty difficult but the results were not that harsh. It counted towards internal marks in oral exams. Nothing happened if some even failed the college exams.

Faculty was good and knowledgeably and fun. They were strict at the same time. All the faculty members were at least me in their particular subjects. They are very helpful n guiding for academics as well as other study related decisions. Especially Mrs Hetel who is still in contact with students.
