Caring while joining the college.Adjustments after 1 year of joining. Confusions after entering into the 2nd year of (course) college.overall, just okay for people who can afford to spend 6-7k per month till the final year.

It is a forum where, not only a basic course of engineering happens but also can work on research works. It is a real deal for students to work on projects and also get into internship programmes abroad. Dr.M.G.R. EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE offers Vast possibilities to it's students for a greater and productive experience.

I'm Currently a final year student and don't have any idea as our department hasn't shared anything about it till date. BPOs are the sort of companies which come to our college to offer placements.

College Department fests club activities festivals Mid level sports event and mutual programmes for all the other departments too. We need not have to fake anything as, the events happen only within an expenditure of 2lakhs or less. A very reputed college having 3000 plus students spends its budget on inviting actors and other Management level programmes. (Not for the sake of students)

Fee structure us very feasible yet, not really helpful to students coming from middle class. As, after paying 84k as tuition fee every year for engineering and approx 5k as exam fee evry semester, we still happen to experience (back papers) "ARREAR PAPERS" after every semester ends. As students we can only try to approach for a re evaluation but nit most of the time we get lucky for what we deserve too.

I haven't opted for any scholarship. Things vary with different environmental conditions. I'm From a middle class family and my father had being paying the complete fee amount since the past 3years.

We have very big labs with adjustable facilities (Computer science department) At some occasions, we have been provided with proper functioning systems. Our lab technicians are genuinely helpful! Staff, (Faculty) is very supportive yet has other works appointed by the college management and thereby always are in a state where they are either upset or very much occupied.

No! I'm a resident of the same city and my hostel friends aren't really ready to encourage anyone else to join at all. Writing 200 words for something not helping itself makes no sense. We have both, Girls and Boys Hostels and dedicated floors for each dean and their cabins. A 4story building has it all and provides water 24/5. Electricity depends on different situations!

I was offered by the college for being a President Awardee in 2015. In the year of 2017 when I joined the college.Later, we paid the complete fee amount of 42k per semester.First year has common subjects for all the branches of Engineering students for a basic over view on all parts of the respective branches.

Helpful in need not much Supportive Only the HOD can sort out things. Class coordinators get upset if any complaints are given from the student's end regarding Attendance fine issues due to some mis calculation happening while recording the final percentage. Students worry as, parents do not appreciate their kids to pay fine amount of min. 1000rupees for having attendance below 75%. Not everyone who bunks the college happens to pay fine also, not everyone who attends all the lectures and leaves college for some emergency escspes from such big amount of fine to pay.
