Amazing place for studies

Rajdhani College is very good but canteen could be better. And placement cell also need some important changes.

Most of the bachelor's degree in university of delhi are of 3 years. Having 6 semesters, 2 semesters each year. Apart from that there are continuous classes and labs and some special lectures also occasionally. Which definitely increase the horizon of the students and help them to plan for their future, professors are well knowledgeable and guide their students at every step. And help them to become a better person in academics and in life also.

As the placement cell is new in our college, it will take some time to get its proper functioning. This year there were no companies who were lookinh specially for our courses students, but many companies visited the campus for other courses. And some company engages students form all the courses. Some students also got direct placement form college and many got internships from varieties of companies. Some students of my course also got placed in some good companies.

There are various events which take place every year. Highlight are Neutronics society fest. Chemistry department fest. College anual function. Women development cell functions. College cultural fest. And various quiz competition, coding competitions, circuit competition, ROBO RACE and many more. All participants got participation certificate and winners also got prizes from special guests.

Fee structure is very simple and transparent in the college. Each year you have to pay fees, which is different for different courses and also change with year. My course fees was around 10-12k per year. It was aroud 12k in 1st year and come down to around 10k in 2nd and 3rd year. Apart from college annual fees student have to pay around 1k - 2k (vary according to courses) as their examination fees each year. Payment of fees is done online no offline option are avilable in college. College provide complete information about the breakdown of fees.

No, I personally do not apply for any scholarship in my college, my college onlye provide scholarship to those students whose financial background is very week. For that you have to fill. A form form college office window along with some documents. And then you are supposed to give an interview for the same, if everything goes fine then you will got around 10k to 12k as scholarship money, basically they return your college fees.

Campus life was amazing. We have debates on current issues, elections every year, college also have a robotics society in collaboration with IIT bombay, annual sports meets was also very popular. Gender wise approximately 40-45 girls pers 100 boys, which again varies in course to course. Students form different parts of the country are there. But majority of them belogs to U. P, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand. And almost students form every religions are can found easily.

There is no hostel facility in our college. You have to saty in PGs which you can get on a very decent price. Price of PGs rooms and flats varies form place to place and owner to owner but you can get a decent room in around 6k-8k per month, most of the boys PGs do not provide mess or food facility, but some does but I my opinion quality of food they provide is not good, so it is better to buy your food form other sources apart from PG mess.

My college seniors were very helpful. They help me in my studies and also told me about carrier options. They were frank, supportive and were ready to help any time. I personally do not face any type of ragging or bullying.

I got into Rajdhani college in 2018, on merit base admissions. Admission process is simple first you have to fill application form release by university of delhi every year, you must choose all the courses in which you are interested. After this university release their cuttof, you have to go through it and choose the college in which you are eligible according to your 12th marks. And vist the college in limited time frame along with required documents. Submit them in college after this you have to pay fees according to the choosen course.

Each semester we have 4-5 subjects. Classes are daily form 9 am to 5pm except sunday and Saturday labs are also conducted daily (1 lab each day). Each class is or 2 hours and each lab is of 4 hours. Teachers are very good in their respective field. And clear almost all the class doubts on the spot in the classroom itself. Occasional workshops, special guest lectures are also held for extra knowledge of students.
