Many of the departments are very old, but they are very well-maintained. The new departments are the best. In the metallurgical department, there are three lecture theatres, and all of them are well equipped with facilities like Wi-Fi, lights, fans and soundproof walls, mics and speakers. One of the lecture theatres is air-conditioned. Labs are well-equipped. A library is a good place with all the books required with flexible timings. Mess and canteen are very good. Quality of food served in the mess and canteen is good. New hostels are well-maintained, but the old hostels have a bit dusty rooms. Medical facilities are very good, and there is a free health checkup facility for students. Sports is on a different level in this college

Teachers in our college are very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable in varied areas. They help students of other departments also if they have an interest in other subjects. The course curriculum is well-reviewed. There are some irrelevant courses like the humanities course and HULM courses which, in my opinion, are irrelevant.

Almost 85% of the students in our course got placed, and out of which 25% of the students opt for the core sector and rest 75% for the non-core sector. The highest salary package offered is 2 crore, and the average salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Goldman Sachs, Bounce, Flipkart and Mantra visit our campus for placements. A top role offered to the students is a data analyst. The highest salary package offered in our course is 32 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Almost 95% of the students got an internship at our college.

I have chosen this course because of my JEE advanced rank and a keen interest in metallurgy. I wish the subjects in the second semester should be more of a conceptual sort rather than practical knowledge. The college organises technical, cultural, and entrepreneur fests in every semester.
