Remarks

My college is a wholesome hub of education with the aim of the upliftment of women especially in field of science and technology I am proud of the ethics it stands for and the vision it aims at I am thankful for the faculty which has been so hardworking that they even created a website to conduct our examination even during the lockdown so that our education doesn't stop The only bad remarks is the fact that the college is an archaeological site so the infrastructure cannot be hampered and so the buildings and especially the washroom is of very poor state

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college has adopted a new curriculum which is based on more experienced based education where we can opt to do projects instead of studying regular subject and have greater choice of subjects too Which in my opinion is a huge advantage for me and my batch mates as the system is more flexible and adaptable. This way while studying we can build our resume and help us secure on campus placement

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement at my college is very good. With companies like Google, microsoft and other Indian companies visiting us for campus placement the students are always securing almost 100% placement. I'm going to go in my second year this session but during the summer break my college encouraged us all to take summer internships and certificate courses to work on our skills which will help us in getting placements for internships in the third year and finally jobs in our last year. For both internship placement in the third year and job placement in the fourth year students have to give placement entrance exams for the various companies that visit and then clear the interview round for it.

College Events

4

My college holds three major fests : 1. Innerve - the technical fest This is one the biggest technical fest in delhi where we have completions from debates to robot making and all such fun activities and coding competitions 2. Synergy- the sports fest This was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium this year and was filled with sports activities and team participation 3. Tarangana - the three day culture fest It is one of the biggest fest where we have many competitions, prizes and performances by celebraties A great platform to manage the event, participate in it and have fun while destressing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are paid at once in the beginning of the year Amongst other technical colleges the fees are the most affordable which is great for people like me too who are not that financially well off There is transparency in the fee break down And no additional cost is required unless we stay in the hostel

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for any loan or scholarship, My parents support me financially so I haven't had the need to opt for loans as of now

Campus Life

3

My college is an all girl's College so there is no gender bias discrimination nor bullying of any sort on campus. The campus life is peaceful and we have many societies to join and hone our talents while studying. The only problem we face is that the area is densely populated by monkeys which ends up attacking students, stealing food or create destruction to property. However to tackle them we have guards and help on campus but still the inconvenience caused by monkeys is inevitable

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is quite strong In my course of the past year my college alumnis of the society have helped us immensely and are in contact with us and guide us through various problems

Admission

After my class 12 boards I dropped out for a year and studied for my entrance exams both JEE and NEET which I passed in the end But decided to pursue engineering instead of medicine and then I enrolled for the admission process online in which I cleared the cut off of my college for the computer science stream and decided to freeze my seat for this and paid the fees for the entire year online then I was called on a particular day for showing up at college and get my documents verified after which I was handed over the admission slip.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college are well educated masters of their own field where all of them have a PhD in their respective subjects. They have clasess typically 3 times out of the 5 days of the week The lectures are nice but they could be more interesting topped with latest information about the technical industry and it's advancement.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
