Remarks
College management is generally good but can sometimes be very rigid on certain things which is unpleasant.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and curriculum is pretty standard for an engineering college. The course is regularly updated and professors encourage research under them and even independently. It has several clubs which organize workshops and technical seminars for the students to get familiar with professional skills. Industry people have been invited to groom students as well. Industrial visits are taken by the clubs in the campus.
Placement Experience
Placement is good compared to NITs. The CSE department sees the highest placements in the college. The common companies are Adobe, Mu Sigma, Sabre, Amazon, Vedanta, Capgemini, Infosys, KPIT, L&T, Oyo, etc (Companies vary a lot every year). They usually have a Presentation round, GD and personal interview. Institute recommends preparation courses for the placement season.

Campus Life
Campus life is amazing. The campus being small, the students interact with each other a lot. The Student Activity Centre has all the extracurriculars a student can dream of. It has the Dance Club, Music Club, Literary and Arts Club, the Gym. Other technical clubs are IEEE, Robotics Club, ASME, SAE, Backslash, etc. All of these clubs organize events and workshops related to their fields. In sports, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Squash, Track events have a court and a coach coming in on weekdays for training. We send teams for InterNIT events too.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, the hostels are great in this college. The rooms are shared with 2-3 people depending on the size of the room. Single rooms are given to PhD students. The mess is okay enough, the food is of quality standards. Regular cleaning is maintained and hygiene is good. Hostel is guarded and there is an entry time of 9:30pm. We pay 15000 per semester for hostel rent and 9000 per semester for mess.
Alumni/Alumna
They are extremely helpful. We're mainly connected through LinkedIn and the annual Alumnus Meet that occurs on the campus. The Alumni have valuable inputs according to corporate life and lead you on the right path.
Admission
Admission through this college is from JEE Mains. After giving JEE, we had to do our counseling from the CSAB website and choose various courses from the different NITs and GFITs. According to your preferences, you'd get a seat on the college of your choice on the basis of your rank.
Faculty
In my course, that is, ECE there are at least 25 professors having varied level of specializations. Most of them are PhD holders from various IITs and NITs. They are extremely skilled in their domains and manage to be very consice in explanations of their subjects. Many of them have worked under RnD departments of organisations such as DRDO, etc.
