Remarks

This college has a great Atmosphere of learning new things and advanced technological things related to Agricultural fields. You have to Clear OUAT CEE Entrance just after 12th boards in order to get admission in this university via merit selection procedure. 4 years graduation course and you will gain lots of Knowledge !

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is properly designed and there are lots of things to learn about Agriculture. Shortly, if you are intereseted in Building a career based on Agriculture then you can opt this. Facilties are well experienced too and provide much help during all field works, practicals, exams and various entrances after the course is Completed.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite nice. After the completion of course one can appear various entrances related to different jobs or higher education. Jrf, upsc opsc IBPS afo CAT XAT and different entrances are there in which our alumni students have excelled ! Last year 6 students from our campus got selected for prestigious OPSC exam and there have been consistent performance in Jrf exams as well.

Life at the campus is just unforgettable, everything is there here starting from every sports literary and cultural events to 2 times cricket tournament in the college ground! Celebration of different festivals and Puja is seen here which is incomparable with others. Infrastructure is quite nice. Hostel is moderate

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is of 2 types- free seats in which you have to pay 60k odd per semester and another is Cost sharing seats in which one have to pay about 1.2 lacs per semester! Scholarship option is also available and jobs after the course are also enormous depending upon various entrances cleared by an individual.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

Ouat at a glance, from a students eyes.

I did my graduation from this college only and so i was comfortable with the faculties the exam. Pattern so i decided to go for post grad from ouat only.
