Remarks

The college MUST do something about its infrastructure. Apart from that, the management is quite good. Equal care of all the departments should be taken by the authority.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in this college on the basis of my JEE Mains rank. I don't remember the exact score but my rank was around 70 k. I went for EE branch as it is one of the core branches and the opportunities for future were claimed to be infinite.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum includes lots of stuff which are redundant. For instance, the first year students are taught chemistry and physics which are more or less same as read in +2. Focus should be imparted on the branch papers from the very beginning of the course.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't heard of any internship provided by the college. Students generally go for internship from their chosen organization. The college just keeps a record of it.

Placement Experience

3.5

75% of the students received on-campus placements last year. The average pay package was around 3.9 lacs. Majority of the companies that came for campus drive were IT firms. Ernst &Young, Cognizant, Minetree, Bosch, Infosys, Capegemini are among the few companies which organize placement drives in our college.

College Events

4.5

Our college organizes a technical fest named Tech fest every year. Apart from that we've a language fest called Panache every year around mid-October. A cultural fest called Elixir is organized at an uneven interval of 2-4 years. The various departments have their own student chapters, like the student chapter of EE is IET. Various seminars and competitions are organised by these organizations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The semester wise fee starts from 36 k. There is an increment of 500 bucks with each semester. There are certain concessions for the PWD and minority candidates. The semester fee for those who have taken laptops from the college differs by a certain amount. Apart from that, there is a registration fee of 1000 bucks in every semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't heard of any such facility provided by the college. The university however, has provision of certain scholarships to support the minority students and the financially weak candidates.

Campus Life

1.5

The college despite of having potential lags behind due to lack of proper infrastructure. There is no college playground. The college canteen is out of function for most of the times. The extracurricular activities are quite good though. The sports events (which are conducted miles away from college) are also good. There are no cultural societies. The debates and other technical events like robotics provide a lot of much-needed exposure to the students.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There college guided hostels which are quite far from the main campus of the college. The hostel food is pathetic. The hostel rooms are shared by 2-3 people depending upon the size of the room. Back-up power supply is the only provided facility. The hostel fee for each semester is around 24 k.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors have been quite helpful in preparing us about the college. They have helped us out whenever we have asked for their help. However, the interaction has been very limited.

Exam Structure

We have semester wise exams which accounts for 2 university conducted exams each year, i.e at the end of every semester. Apart from that there are 2 internal exams for each semester. Semester exams are preceded by practical exams in each of the semester. This accounts for total of 8 university conducted exams, 8 practical exams in total.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my college are highly knowledgeable. They do have in-depth knowledge of the subjects they teach. Furthermore, they also hold long-term experience in the teaching profession thereby understand the issues students commonly face. They are quite supportive and help in the overall growth of the students.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
