Remarks
Actually I wanted to do graduation outside from Jammu, but due to general quota, I was not able to get a seat in Punjab or Chandigarh. So pune was my third preference. MIT colleges are known very well in Pune due to their placements and their overall criteria. One bad thing about my college is that it is located in a semi rural area. On the other hand thr climate is very good, if anyone wants to do computer engineering or it in a very peaceful and strict way, he/she can apply well and admission is purely based on JEE Mains and MHCET score.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in area of technology, computers from childhood, and I was also good on operating technological devices. So I decided to choose this course. Maximum faculty are having masters or PhD's. Teaching method may be some times good and sometimes not up to the mark when exams are near. When I was a fresher, I felt difficulty to pass but after time I came to knew that it's not that difficult if you go and approach subjects with a tactical plan.
Placement Experience
Actually I don't know too much about the placement process but overall it's good overall. Many companies visit our colleges like HCL, TCS, etc. Thr Average package is around 5 lakhs and maximum is about upto 30 lakhs
College Events
Social life is good. Hostel life was totally awesome. We have worked together with seniors during festivals and to make arrangements during many festivals. There are many clubs in our college like Hackerrank, Developers Student club, separate club for art and craft, for music, for dancing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The overall fee structure is about Rs 1.5 lakh per year for general quota. There are many scholarships like PMSSS For J&K students, migrants quota, etc through which one can get stipend for fees.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is also good. There are Specially Guard Boys for cleaning and maintenance of every room including all the bathrooms of the hostel. And mess was good.
Admission
No, Actuallly my addmission was done through PMSSS mode so there was not any special kind of that interview for me. But there are written tests for new students I think.
