I was quiet interested in automation and controlling parts. So this is the reason I choose IC Engineering. And this course is best offered in LD college of Engineering. Also the college has good campus along with best teaching staff. Along with this the Campus is too good. The whole admission process is done through ACPC. Instrumentation and Control Engineering includes mainly controlling and processing applications of industries. Also it focuses on the automation part. Also in LD college, this course is offered best in Gujarat. Also LD has many lab, instruments for practical purpose, etc. LD college has good and qualified faculties. They are very supportive and innovative. Also the exams and the continuous evolution is done on regular basis. The level of Exam is moderate and we can get good score on it.

The percentage of students getting placements is 65%. The highest package offered is 12 Lakhs and the average package is 4 Lakhs. The placement process begins from semester 7. Companies like Reliance, Tata, L&T, Infosys, MG Motors, Accenture, Gov. Companies, etc. are the major recruiters for LD college of Engineering. Talking about myself, I am currently preparing for MBA and also focusing on the Placements.

The infrastructure of LD College of Engineering is Awesome. We have different buildings for different departments. A Campus life is too good. We have more than 15 active clubs in our college including Robocon club, Vox Populie club, Rotract, NSS, NCC, etc. The annual and only national level Edu-tech Fest of LD college i.e. LAKSHYA is organized every year in month of February. Also we have many other fests like Thanganat, Rang De, Tarang, etc. Also the social and cultural fest like Sahitya Sarita is organized. Each department has their magazine which is published on the website of LD College. All the classrooms are well equipped with white board and projectors. Along with these, we have a huge library which has more than 5000 books. Sports activities like Break the Ice, sports week, tournaments, etc. is organized every year.

As this is the Government College, the fees are too low i.e. 1500 and also in addition we have to pay the Examination fees per semester which is round 800. Also TFWS scheme is applicable. Talking about the Scholarships, MYSY, Tablet Scheme, Laptop Scheme, Etc. are also applicable. We have many companies what offers internship with good amount of stipend and work experience. Talking about the placements, Reliance, Tata, Gov. companies, MG Motors, L&T, Accenture, etc. are the major recruiters. The average package is around 4 Lakhs.

Hostel facilities are good. Also the fess are too nominal. In a room, there are 3 beds for 3 students including their personal cupboard and locker. Also tables are provided for writing purpose. Meal is also provided 2 times a day with good menu. The registration process is based on the ACPC merit list rank. One with good rank gets a chance firstly to confirm the admission in hostel. I personally live in PG which is located on Drive-In road which is around 4 km away from College.

Actually the whole admission process is done through ACPC. Firstly the merit list is announced by combining the marks of GUJCET and GSBE. According to the merit number, you can get the admission in respective colleges. The same process is followed in LD College to get admission in different fields. Many selection rounds are carried out so that the students can get their desired college with respect to their ACPC merit rank.
