It is the best college in Jharkhand for the BTech. About 70% of the students from our course(Mechanical engineering) got placed. The average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like IOCL, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Tata Hitachi, Vedanta, Jindal Steel, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco, etc, visit our campus for placements. Campus crowd is huge, very good and spread over about 780 acres. You will enjoy your four years studying here and exploring the campus. Fests organised at our college are not of top-level, but it is good. You can also join different clubs and societies here. The connectivity is good during days, but you may find difficulties during the night. Overall it is a good package for 4 years.

Mechanical department is very good among all other branches. Labs are well-equipped with excellent facilities. The hostels are good, but not up to the mark. The hostel is average for the first-year students, but from the second year, you will get a single room, which is better than the first year. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The library is good. Food served in the mess is average. Girls to boys ratio is bad.The course curriculum is the best compared to all other colleges. Our course is very student-friendly and well-structured. Teachers in our college are knowledgeable, well-qualified and helpful. Exams are not easy nor difficult but one can find it difficult sometimes.thera are 4 exams conducted two quiz of 10 marks,one mid sem and one end sem each of 25 and 50 marks. Each exam takes place in about 1 month.

Campus placements is held each year after third year third year students get chance to participate in campus placement about 120 companies visit every year for campus placement and campus placements are very good approx 80% of the students are selected in the campus placement with an average package of 10.3 lacs per annum many different top companies come here to recruit such as Amazon Microsoft, Adobe Tata and many more.

Campus Life is awesome. Campus is of about 780 acres full of greenery.there are lot of things to explore in the college.there are fests organised in each month but the annual and best fest is BITOTSAV which is extremely good. The technical fest which is very popular is PANTHEON. There are lots of clubs such as SRIJAN,AVEON racing,Rotoract, IEEE, coding clubs, environmental club, and many more. Sports and games facilities are good. All kinds of sports are available here to play. Every sport has its ground. Our college doesn't provide a swimming pool.

Fee Structure is not good.It is very costly.but you can get loans at affordable interest from the banks in college.scholarships are provided on basis of merit after each semester.castes such as obc,sc,st are given relaxation in their fee.campus placement are awesome.about 80% students are being selected for campus jobs with highest package of 43 lpa,median of about 8.5 lpa,avg of about 10.5lpa.

Hostel facilities are not upto the mark but it is good every room has one fan, light and basic facilities such as a study table and two beds during the first year you are accommodated with one more person that is two person in a single room and it is named as hostel 10 where all the first year students live for different programs. But after the first year every branch is separated in different hostels each student get their own room. Hostels are quite affordable it is not costly know it is cheap but it is very good.mess facilities are also very good. Food is served four times in a day breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner and each month you get special menu for the food. Menu of the hostel message quite nutritious but not detecting one can find it nutritious but the food is not so tasty. so many of them do not like the food but it is ok. the charge of mess is about 20000 per semester.
