Best Govt. Aided College in Maharashtra

Overall I would say, WCE sangli is one of the most prestigious institutes of Maharashtra. It is govt Aided. And teachers /lecturers are very kind and supportive. Overall development of student is made within 4 years.

The Exam structure in WCE is We have overall two ISE (In semester Examination) of which one is held at begin of semester.10 marks each, in which the main focus is on practical knowledge. By doing orals, experiments, presentations, experiments, etc. Then MSE (Mid sem exam) of 30 marks paper. And then again one ISE of 10 marks. And finally the ESE (End sem exam) of 50 Marks. The curriculum is totally relevant and averagly research based. Professor here are very well educated and they groomed to provide us the industry - specific deep knowledge. Which is also helpful in on-campus placements. Industrial visits are also organised timely for the students.

There are several companies that visit the campus. The major companies for my course are:- LinkedIn, Rakuten, TCS, Amazon, Dell, Seagate, Infosys, siemens, L&T, pubmatic, etc. The recruitment drive follows these steps:- Sort acc. To GPA of students. And then Interview with them. Almost 95-100% every year are placed from WCE Campus. The Institute provides 4-5 months vacation for internships. Some major internships companies:- Bny-mellon Veritas, etc

Major event are Vision, Electrovert, Hackathon, art circle, robo-holic, etc. These are all major events and students from various colleges in Maharashtra participate in these events. These events are held once in a year. And there are around 20 clubs in college of different courses. So each course has its own various events.

Total fee is 72000 for OPEN category students. And some scholarship to some particular category students. Mode of payments:- cash /online transactions. No extra fees for securing admission to course. There is fully transparency in the fee-breakdown. You can see the fees required for various fields in the receipt.

Sebc scholarship. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is that the yearly income of your father should be less than 8 lakhs. Visit the scholarship section in the college to know more about it. You have to provide all the required documents to them.

Campus life in wce sangli is very good. The surrounding and climate is very good. Plenty of trees are in campus. Extracurricular activities such as sports and competions such as roboholic and several debate competition are held timely. We have a cricket ground. A wooden badminton court. A gym with chess /carrom, etc. Gender ratio here is 55 % boys and 45% girls (Personal review). And there is no diffrentiation in gender, ethinicity, religion, etc. Also no raging is done. Very safe and calm environment is there.

Every 2-3 years An Alumni meet is held in WCE sangli. To interact with the passouts and gain some knowledge from there experience. seniors are very helpful to the juniors in all kind of help whether it may be acadamics or personal problem, seniors are always there to help you!

I got the admission in this college by giving MHT-CET 2019 (PCM) Entrance exam. There are two ways to get admission here 1) MHT-CET 2) JEE Mains. There are officially 3 CAP Rounds to get seat in college. I got admission in the 3rd CAP Round. I got Electronics Course. I choose this Institute because I have seen the NIRF Ranking of this college which was 153, which is great. To get admission you need to go through following steps:- 1) Visit the college after CAP round is over and your seat is alloted. 2) Give all the required documents necessary for the admission process. Dates of admission are according to the CAP Round Dates.

There are around 20-30 lecturers in my course. Average age around 35-45 and well qualified such as PHD and M.Tech from well named Institutes. The lecturers here are very calm and supportive towards the students. They help everyone for the doubts, and explain all the concepts clearly, in a simple way. Some lecturers have previous industrial knowledge/Experience/certifications.
