Remarks
The college which I chose was ranked 3rd best in Kerala.and as I couldn't clear JEE Advance and couldn't get CSE with my JEE Mains rank of 21k, I opted for this govt aided college in Kerala. Also as compared to other colleges the college tuition fees where affordable ranging only around Rs18k an year. Also I checked the alumni page and communicated the pass-out students of this college and found many of them gave a very positive response. Also this college gave opportunities for learning through various workshops and other programmes. So I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The new APJAKTU syllabus is on par with other famed universities in India. The faculties are excellent with several crucial years of experience. Most of them have acquired PhD in their field of expertise. As I am CSE branch.Mr.Rejimoan, Dr.Soniya, Kavita maam, Chitaranjan Sir, Our HOD Subu Sureendran sir, Kutty Malu maam, Dr. Anitha Maam Haripriya maam, The Dean Mrs Jayasudha are excellent faculties among many excellent ones.
Placement Experience
Various companies like wipro, tcs Infosys, Oracle, etc visit the campus and many of them clears those rounds.the interview rounds pattern changed during the lockdown, so don't have much idea for the same.
College Events
The campus lacks sports facilites as the only facility u get is the badminton and basketball court. The college has a very grand Cultural Festival called "cult a way" which occurs in every even semester.And great and famous personalities are invited to perform for the crazy students of this college. Apart from these.there are many other festival celebrations like the arts day which hold competitions on almost all fields and prove to be a perfect platform to showcase your talents. The sports day is equally grand. Students are encouraged to participate in various hackatons, seminars, workshops and in almost all competitions atleast one winner is from thsi college SCTCE.
Campus Life
Libraries are rather good as you get a central library where books of almost all courses can be found apart from these. department libraries are provided which helps the students in their academics.
Hostel Facilities
Actually te college doesn't have a hostel in their campus but many tie up hostels surrounds that area.most of the hostels provide moderate facilites and average to good foods.but some are worse.Girls have a separate girls hostel which comes directly under the college management but outside the premises.average rentals for hostels are Rs4000 - 5500 per month. Actually the college privides hostel guidance at the same time you take admission so I think finding a hostel is not too difficult.but always ask for feedbacks from different students mostly from 2nd years as they speak the truth and also from final years as they have the experience.
