Placements are 100% in BITS. There is strong placement unit that calls more than 350 companies every year for placements.

College Events

There is famous technical fest apogee and Asia's second largest college cultural fest names Oasis. Oasis is 96 hrs non stop fest. Celebrities from various parts of world attend Oasis and performances are just mesmerizing. Oasis has special place in heart of bitsians.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Fee is about 3.5 lakh per year for 4 year course. I opted for education loan of about 15 lakh. We get loan directly from college at very less rate of interest.

Campus Life

Campus life is best in India you'll ever find. The peer group is amazing. We learn most of the things from fellow batchies. Gender ratio of male to female is about 9:1. There are clubs for everything you can name from dramatics, music to robotics and astronomy.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is best asset for anyone in bits. Alumni support organization in ever aspect from placements to fundings.

Admission

I gave BITSAT exam for admission. BITSAT is 450 marks exam consisting of 150 questions. I scored 402 marks in exam. BITSAT 2020 will take place in September. Computer science is most demanded course and generally cutoff is 384 marks. Exam consists of physics chemistry mathematics English and logical reasoning.

The faculty is amazing. There is research environment in college and everyone need to complete 160 credits to complete graduation requirements. There are courses on core subjects related to branch and we need to do 3 humanities electives that help in personal growth.

One of the best college in jodhpur

Remarks:

Overall the college is good. One may find the fee structure a bit high as compared to other colleges in jodhpur for the same course but the faculty is brilliant and I personally prefer semester system as it keeps me involved in my studies throughout the year, and internal exams supports on this process and allows shift burden of the syllabus on last exam moments.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
