Remarks

Our college provides the best Wi-Fi facility for us with more than 300 Mbps speed, along with LAN connections. Labs are well-equipped with the latest instruments and the best teachers across the country. Classrooms are huge and follow the standard of the IIT. The library is highly air-conditioned, and lacs of journals and latest books are easily available in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers here are the best and very much experienced in their fields. They taught us the basic things to complex engineering things easily. The course curriculum is well arranged and designed in the best way among all the mining courses available across the globe.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

All the students who attended for placements got placed either in core or non-core companies. It is the best part because many institutions don't provide this benefit. Almost every student got placed with the lowest salary package of 7 LPA and the highest salary package of 50 LPA from the mining branch. Top recruiters for our course are Tata Steel, Coal India, Microsoft, etc.

College Events

Our campus is really lovely, and it is spread over 1,400 acres and is huge. It also has a real coal mine for a better experience, and it has vibes. Functions are held here at a huge scale, and a lot of artists/famous personalities like APJ Abdul Kalam, etc, used to visit here.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

I choose iit bhu because of iit tag string mining dept and most imp the campus life which felt better than other options i have . I have options of few iits like iit dhanbad and all but iit bhu stood out the most from all other iits in terms of everyaspect as it has strong placements records and aluminia base with lots of supported startups.
