The whole college management is good and available during requirement. Some may be strict some may be extremely friendly but that is the way life goes.

WBJEE. I opted this college because the stream that i wanted to take was available and the reputation of the college.

Electronics and communication is the most demanded course after CSE. The opportunities are wide open with a vast option as this is the era of Technologies. Students can do M.tech And furthermore go ahead with research fellowships. Even the college as well as outside sources arrange for different projects in the last year of the course.

Yes obviously! They offer internship programs in the last two years of the course, in which every student's participation is compulsory, so that they get a view of the corporate world. Different course have different internship programs arranged by college in collaboration with renowned companies like Hewlett-Packard(HP), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL), etc.. whichever suits the course of the student.

The placement and job opportunities are well enough for the students. By the middle of the last year students have job in their hand, but if someone wishes to pursue higher studies they it is his/her choice to opt out from placement. Companies like TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra and many others come for placements. Last year for Ece department 70% got placed, however the rest couldn't make out in the aptitude tests and interviews.

Like other engineering colleges the is one technical fest and another cultural fest. The cultural fest consists of different programs delivered by the students like, singing, dancing, acting, or showing any special talents. It is usually called Prabudhha and is celebrated every year. Following this accompanies the technical fest where student feature their technical skills. it is called Yagvik.

The entire fee structure is farmed by the university by govt. West Bengal. The entire fees for 4 years is nearly about 3.5 lac. The fees is paid every semester. The certain amount for each semester varies for each college but at the end it adds up to 3.5 lac for all the engineering colleges under MAKAUT(Formerly known as WBUT).

Well there is no such gender discrimination. Every deserving person is recognized as a student and not as a girl or boy(GENDER). Robotics workshops goes on every year, not one but many. The senior or the faculty members approaches the students and ask about their decision whether or not to participate. In terms of sports Football is played at inter- College level and the team is chosen after one shows their interest and skills to the respective authority. Labs are extremely good equipped with all the facilities that one will be requiring during the course.

Boys and girls have different hostel campus. The girls firstly have their hostel premises near the airport from where college bus is offered to them. The boys hotel is comparatively nearer to the college and they also get the facility of college bus.

The seniors are extremely helpful and they are like your own elder brothers. They will guide their juniors wherever required and their friendly nature is worthy of mentioning.

The whole course is divided into 8 semesters. Each semester consists of a final exam with 100 marks theory and practical each. further there are two internals that are of 30 marks paper taken just 1 month after starting of semester and one before the exam.

The faculties are well divided for each of the department. They are friendly with the students. If someone has any problem in understanding a particular topic; then at the end of each day a "Discussion" class is provided where one can personally contact any of the faculty and get their doubts cleared. Moreover throughout the course they will guide the students and the last year project, which is one of the important thing in the course is well-guided by the faculty members.
