Remarks

I was interested in hospitality industry. College provides knowledge,experience and the placements are also good. The bad thing is that it is too strict for girls.I got my college through NCHMCT JEE exam. One can search about the college in ihmchennai.com

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are very good and experienced. There are around 1500 to 1600 hundred students in the campus. The faculties are well qualified. Exams are held maintaining all the standards.

Placement Experience

Campus placement are very good. One can also go for masters if she or he wants to pursue further studies. 100% placement. 3 to 6 lacs pakages are provided. Companies like dominos, Starbucks, Novotel hotel, Taj hotels comes for placement

College Events

College life is good. Lots of cultural programs, food fest, seminars and competition are held based on hospitality industry. Books are available in library, once has to purchase it from there. Sports weeks are held annually. Ihmchennaistudents in Instagram

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is extra facilities for Andaman and Lakshadweep students. Around 1.5k is required for fees. It's a government college.Jobs with good stipend are provided based on your skills and knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are good. 3 to 4 students can be accommodated. beds, cupboard and tables provided. Washroom are well maintained. Overall accommodation is very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I had to appear for National exam NCHMCT JEE for hotel management. No PI was taken. After that we have to give our choices of colleges during counselling session and based on our ranks we will get seats. After that we have to go to the particular college and do required admission procedure.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

College is good, but the thing really matters is dedication and practice

I analyzed a bit before selecting this college, as I had been through the process I found that this college has a good ranking among all colleges for this field around India.
