IIM Kashipur has great management programs and research programs in it. The placement record for this institute stands at par with the other IIMs in India. The two-year flagship program at IIM Kashipur is designed to make future leaders with modern teaching techniques and real lie exposure to leading industries. The admission process starts from the month of May-June and the academic calendar for a fresh session starts from July every year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The MBA program is a diverse degree with specializations in Human resources, organizational behavior, data analytics and many more. The program involves skill-set programs to prepare the students for current market needs. Faculties at the institute are PhD scholars and some of them are still researching their respective fields.
Internships Opportunities
Yes IIM, Kashipur offers summer internship programs to the students after completing the 4th Semester of their program. The internship period depends on the company, but it is not more than 3-4 months. The highest stipend recorded in the 2018 batch is INR 4,60,000 from BFSI, Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, E-commerce, and the power and energy sector. Efficient companies like Anarock, 4TiGo, HDFC, CoHo, GoIbibo, Black Turtle, and Google participated in the summer internship programs.
Placement Experience
Placement at IIM Kashipur is undoubtedly a remarkable feature of the institute. The institute provides placement opportunities from Indian and overseas companies with great packages. Highest Annual CTC for our batch is recorded at INR 45 Lakhs from the domestic companies, whereas overseas companies offered the highest annual CTC at INR 48 Lakhs. Most of the offers were made from IT companies like Infosys, Mphasis, India Mart, Novozymes, Mindtree, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The program fees for the 2-year MBA program are around 15 Lakhs which is paid in annual installments. The institute also engages in Student Exchange Program from and to India. The fees include admission, tuition, books, hostel, convocation, and library fees for all the semesters.
Campus Life
The campus life at IIT Kashipur is quite hectic with all the classroom teachings, extracurricular activities, sports, and flagship events on a regular basis. But the experience is worth it. The institute not only focuses on learning techniques but also gives us the chance to showcase our hidden talents. Student Clubs like Consilium, HRHYTHM, OSM, Finance, and Ecology are quite academic and organizes workshops.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels at IIM Kahspir are well ventilated and a wellness facility is provided 24*7 to all the students. Pharmacy, counseling, and Medical assistance comes under these facilities. Apart from basic requirements, the institute also provides commuting services from the hostel to the campus.
Interview Experience
The admission process is finalized on the basis of merit. The composite score for all the candidates is created and shortlisted as per their merit. The admission committee conducts the personal interview round after the evaluation of composite scores. CAT scores play a vital role in determining the overall score for the admission process at IIM Kashipur. Candidates with work experience are given preference over the freshers.
