Quality Life with Great Career Prospects

IIM Kashipur is underrated though, but experiencing 2 years at this B-school was amazing. It changed my mind about the Institute. The level of the Institue in every dimension is above par. It is a perfect blend of extraordinary social life and experiential learning. The encouragement received from the staff makes this institute more pleasant and attractive. With a decent CAT score, IIM-Kashipur is undoubtedly a go-to option for an MBA aspirant.

My interest lies in business and learning marketing strategies in practical life and MBA was the best option for me, that is why I opted for this course. The teaching faculty is supremely skilled and possesses magnificent qualifications like MBA, Ph.D., etc. With several specializations, the professors are down-to-earth and address our doubts 'n' a number of times. They motivate us to ask questions in the class without any hesitation. Routine classroom activities included debates, discussions, etc. There are 6 term exams that require hard practice.

IIM-Kashipur provides summer internships for the better future of the students. These start from the end of 1st year. The students are placed in top companies for their summer internships and the institute tries to recommend them to big companies.

IIM-Kashipur offers adequate opportunities through placement packages. In my batch of 2018-20, there were 218 job offers were made to around 194 seekers. In the same year, as many as 72 companies visited the institute for the recruitment process. During the visit, the highest CTC package offered was INR 28 LPA. With this, the average salary package came around INR 12.17 LPA. Most of the students were placed in the Sales & Marketing field. The topmost companies include HDFC Bank, Byju's, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Hero Motocorp, ICICI Bank, Oyo, Godrej, Infosys, etc.

The total fees for the batch 2018-20 I paid were INR 12,42,084 divided into 6 term installments. The students could further compensate themselves by obtaining/fetching valuable CTC packages at the end of their PG. This included non-refundable fees as well refundable fees. The total fees I paid was inclusive of the Tuition fee, hostel fee, library deposit, caution deposit, computer fee, mess fee, etc.

Agnitraya is the coined name for the 'annual fest' of IIM-Kashipur. The fest acts as a stress booster for the students after the daily schedule of studies. The fest includes several events like game events, musical concerts, business conclaves, etc. The Institute also caters to the extracurricular wants of the students by organizing seminars and events. There are dedicated clubs and committees in the Institute that look to relieve students by organizing regular activities. The business school offers facilities like a library, auditorium, cafeteria, labs, hostel facilities, etc.

The hostel life is wonderful. It helps in knowing people from different areas and then living together, it makes a special bond. We used to have late-night group studies and fun on weekends. The hostel environment was so cherishable that the memories made there will be forever remembered. The cleanliness & hygiene factor is always kept in mind, be it hostel food or in the hostel rooms. The menu is well-planned and there was no severe complaint about the same during my time.

The interview experience at IIM-Kashipur was splendid as I answered every question with utter confidence. Initially, I was very nervous but proceeding, I shot the answers with confidence. The panelists started by using me how I am feeling, about myself, my hobbies, my sports interests, etc. The reason for choosing IIM-Kashipur, banking, economics, travel, etc. were furthermore questions being asked to me. The overall interview experience was good. If you are going for an IIM interview, just ensure that you are confident and well-behaved.
