SCT is one of the top 10 Engineering colleges in Kerala.It is situated in the capital city of Trivandrum and hence a city life can be enjoyed by the students.Although the campus is small, students have huge freedom.
Course Curriculum Overview
EC is a branch which provides many job and research opportunities and the number of students getting placed is also high.This branch has a well experienced and knowledgeable faculty with a faculty:student ratio of 1:16. The faculty is well qualified with the Professors and Associate Professors having Ph.Ds and the Assistant Professors having M.Techs from premier institutions.
Placement Experience
SCT has a good placement record since its inception.Every year, the 7th sem students are given suitable training to prepare them for their placement interviews.A large no of companies including TCS, Infosys, Tata Elxsi,QBurst,EY, Byju's, Accubits have recruited students from SCT.Almost 90% of the eligible students gets placed every year. College Events
The campus of SCT is situated near the highway.Although it has a relatively smaller campus,it doesn't affect the campus life.The College Fest Cult A Way is one of the largest fests in Kerala,being conducted since 2011.It is normally conducted in a period of 3 days in the month of April.SCT has a very large library with a variety of books regarding engineering subjects and also has the latest tech magazines and research journals.Sports is another main feature in SCT. Although a proper ground is unavailable, football and cricket tournaments are conducted in the limited space. SCT has always been higky active in the University Sports Meets.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is Rs.35,000+other fees=Rs 42,000 per year.So a total of Rs 1,68,000 is the total cost of the program. This fees is in accordance with the fee structure dictated by the government for Govt.Controlled Self-financing colleges. Loans and other financial assistance can be easily acquired from any bank and the college provides some scholarships for deserving candidates.
Hostel Facilities
College Hostels are not available but there are many PGs and Rented Accomodation available in the near vicinity of the college at affordable rates which are approved by the college.
