Remarks

Because of it's location and infrastructure. Faculties are also good. Providing a great hostel ambience. And it's one of the prestigious institutions in the state. And also according to marks I got admitted to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because my graduation was also in this course. Faculty and students ratio is 1:6 which is quite good, there is 2 mid term and one end term exams in each semester.

Campus placements are provided but not up to the expectation. You have to go through a written test then a personal interview in order to make sure that you are getting placed.

College Events

Life at campus is very much happening. There are 3 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. Gym, medical, park are also inside campus. Hostel environment, food quality are also good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

25000 for course fee and around 10k for bus fees. If you have scored good marks in graduation you can apply for state scholarships. At the end of your study you can also get campus placement.

Admission

One computer based test(CBT) was done. Then combining the career mark and entrance mark a rank will be provided. You will get admission accordingly your rank.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I got admission in first round of selection in FMU and later i didn't found any reason to left this university in further processes of admission. The memories in the university of nature

The eligibility of the course is B.Sc in Zoology. The state conduct an entrance called CPET every year. According to the mark obtained in the entrance and career mark, the rank list is published. The application fee is 500 Rupees and conducted in the month of June . Reservation for SC, ST, OBC is there. It is conducted once in a year. Duration of the exam is 2 hours with no negative marking.
