Remarks

Talking about the good points, college has a very huge campus and is always greenery surrounded. Faculties are helpful with good knowledge of the content they teach. It also provides locker facilities to the students to keep their belongings safely(Although I haven't received one In progress). Labs are very neat and clean and college even if surrounded by greenery, is the most cleanest place I have seen ever in such a greenery. Coming to the bad points, college doesnot allow any of its student to go out of the campus once in college hourse(In short to bunk..:-D).In such cases students get irritated sometimes.A student is allowed to go out in college hours only if he/she has a legal permission signed by its HOD.Also this college is quite far from Mumbai as well as from Vasai with very less transportation access to it.One has to be a perfect 'Mumbaikar' if he/she wants to attend all the lecs from 9-5 on time because he/she(no gender discrimination..:-D) is required to catch the train which reaches vasai on time of the further ST bus or train transportation.Canteen should welcome some more varieties in food.Power cuts are often here but there is a generator installed so not a big issue. Last but not the least, afterall every college is best in its own aspect. As everyone loves its college and is going to miss it badly once course is completed,so do I.

Entrance Preview

Starting with the first question if to be answered, this college was basically new(in 2012). I gave CET exam and AIEEE exam both in order to pursue a career in Engineering.Engineering was basically set as a goal from starting itself, and the perspective of doing IT Engineering was crystal clear from first. Then the results of both CET and AIEEE came out and scored quite less than the expected. Filled the DTE form with preferences where this college was one from the list. Was a little aware about this college as per the newspapers articles. Finally got admission in this college. And for the very first time I visited this college,I was like 'Wow!,What a humungus campus!'.Also all the admission staff was co-operative for the admission process. And finally opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Being a TE student, I don't know much about the electives but, yes definitely the course curriculum is awesome. This college provides stream like Electronics, Civil, IT, Comps and EXTC. Further is planning to provide more stream as heard. Enough required knowledge given in every respective field by the faculties.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship but yes, it helps to get through its contacts with IIT's and many companies.

Placement Experience

4

Again being a TE student, its difficult for me to give the detailed information about campus placement. But as of heard, the campus placement is quite average and few people has been placed in good companies such as Cape Gemini and others. Package provided to them was also quite good.

College Events

4.5

To be frank, I had been just an audience till date for any technical events happened so far. Planning to participate this year. But the fest which happens in this college is known as 'VYRO' which is super cool. Including many entertainment games, acts and many more things. Other than this, college also organizes different seminars and workshops for students to get refreshed from daily routine less and also through knowledge gaining aspect. IOT was one of the workshop which was of two days which was organized by the college which I attended and the speaker gave theoretical as well as practical explanations about the topic. It was very nice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Talking about the fees structure, fees for TE students is 1 lac 14 thousand approx in which 1 lac 4 thousand is of normal academics fees and other 10,000 was for 'Universal Activity Center' which is overall quite expensive(That's what I think). Fees for other years are different than of TE.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am totally unaware about any loan facility whether its provided or not because, there was no need as such for me to avail the loan by god's grace.

Campus Life

5

College campus life is quite cool with such a huge campus and nice greenery all around. The campus itself has a shiv temple inside it. There is no as such politics or gender difference here. All are treated equally. The only difference is cast reservations in which college itself is helpless.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is no as such accommodation facilities provided by the college at current. One has to either rent a room or by a house nearby it as the college is quite far from the city. That is quite problematic. College provides a canteen called as 'Literati Cafe' which has quite good food at reasonable costs but less in daily varieties.

Alumni/Alumna

Being a new college, only a single batch was passed out of it. Seniors many a times do visit the college and college organizes seminars for junior students in which these senior students tell their experiences related to academics and current status of the market outside.

Exam Structure

Talking about the exams, its the worst part of any students life but also is essential to test once intelligence. Examinations in this college were never ended as hectic. There has to be certain rules which has to be followed which I think is the story in every other college not only of Engineering.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college is very good. In terms of knowledge, help, co-operation in all the aspects is really very good. They are like study at the time of study and fun at the time of fun. Because of this, the atmosphere in the class gets very good and also learning becomes more easy and interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
