Remarks

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the best College with best placement of its students among big companies like Big4s.Its NAAC grading is "A". Famous YouTuber-Bhuvan bam and Bollywood actor-Sidharth Malhotra are from my college. Its faculty is best.it is commonly known as cousin of Shree ram college of Commerce (University of Delhi).Bad thing -well no much bad to write but one 2 thing is only that college is near chirag delhi where dirt is a lit bit.admission process is quite simple.its from this year University of Delhi has made admission process wholly online.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of college work very hard to employ students in big companies like Deloitte komg pwc ey etc from 5th semester, highest package of current period recruitment till date in current year is 5.5lakh by deloitee for audit assistant.average package is 3.5lakh in current year.The percentage is quite best.nearly all the students who enroll with placement cell gets placement through placement cell.my plan after my degree is to go for higher studies.

Various fests of various college societies like udhyam -the commerce society fest etc.The annual cultural fest by student union-Dastan is a hit fest in the feb- march.Books and jouranl on every topic is available in the library at all time.projectors in the classrooms can be counted as amenities.various societies is run by students like- ecospire-the economics society,Minervia -the Quizz society,noor-tge fashon society,spardha-the dance society, haritkram -the environment society, Promethean -the art and fine society,comsoc-tge commerce society etc like around 12-15 famous society are there in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is very affordable as my college is a University of Delhi 's college which is totally government funded.Various scholarship assistance like basicalon scholarship (Sbsc alumni association scholarship )etc.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel in the campus but there are various pgs and room available on rent just outside the camous which is very costly like a single sharing room in pg will cost you at least for rs.10000 in sheilh sarai aur chirag delhi area

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
