Remarks

The best course that I choose was financial reporting and analysis after going through the material and case studies. I have chosen this University because through my CAT score I was not able to get any of descent college than this.so I land here.

Placement Experience

The highest domestic package was from Amazon of 40.5 Lacs. Top companies were Deloitte, Everest Consulting, Fidelity, GS, HDFC, ICICI, Cognizant, Wipro. 33% went into consulting and 27% went into Finance The lowest was from startups which paid below 10 Lacs. Average was around 17.5 Lacs.

College Events

There is a consulting, entrepreneurship workshop. Course end projects which are part of course evaluation are very relevant and good to understand concep.Course curriculum got restructured recently and it is one of the most relevant and great curriculum which makes us ready for the industry.

Admission here for mba is through CAT score.

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

IIM Kozhikode Review

IIM K is in Kerala, so it's mostly rainy here. Get a raincoat and umbrella here. The college has a wonderful pedagogy focusing on case studies. The food here is a little different from what is offered in any other part of India. So, people from other parts of India will take time to acclimatize. There are some subjects that are very elementary and one might consider them to have no value addition. But they'll help in the long turn....Read More
