Remarks
Being fresher, I always viewed the world as a place full of opportunities, while preparing for the cat the thought of joining a new IIM never even crossed my mind. But here I am, in IIM Kashipur I got the opportunity to meet amazing people. With a student-run campus spread across 200 acres, you get to make memories, learn a lot that includes how to manage people as well not just bookish knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as vigorous as any other IIM. You get to experience the same learnings which a student from top IIMs gets. Faculties are great, their degrees and professional courses range from 3 to 7 and most of them have a lot of experience.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies that come for finals, come for summers as well. You just need to have relevant knowledge and skills for the role. For that, you need to practice the learning taught in the classrooms.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent, Puma, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Google, Amazon, Cisco, and many more companies came for summers as well as finals. Average placements are around 14 lacs and the maximum goes upto 50 lacs. Its really about your own capabilities and learning skills to differentiate yourself from the rest of the batch
Fees and Financial Aid
I think you get a good ROI if you are getting admission to a new IIM. Placements are at par with other new IIMs. Also, the introduction of a new course i.e MBA analytics made IIM kashipur unique in its own ways.
Campus Life
Agnitraya is the annual fest of IIM Kashipur, where section wars happen that includes sports, cultural activities, and other competitions. Also, Prarambh happens at the start of the term where juniors face seniors in sports.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are double sharing for the first year but it's worth it. You get to experience a lot of things and make a lot of memories. Radiant heating and cooling are there for every room and washing machines, Oven and everything is available on each floor.
Interview Experience
I had to go through the complete process of CAP, where I had to write WAT and after that, I had to give PI. You need to be really thorough with your CV and should not be nervous about it. They don't expect you to know everything but they expect you to know at least yourself.
