Yes Internship is provided, and we have students coming from French Universities to do their internship here. This happens on a regular basis and the foreign students themselves have said this University has been terrific.

Placement is good and job opportunities depend on the market, but here an effort is always underway which is known as Placement season which starts from October and continues till June very year. Placement department has helping and understanding people who will listen to issues particularly in terms of communication problem between student and companies.

Technical events happen almost every 2-3 months and cultural festival is called UURJA which happens in November and it is a big deal here as Bands war it out to be the best and we have guest singers and so on performing in the evening and everyone has a good time.

Fee structure is between feasible and expensive range, but then the overall experience makes it worth while. Every college now has a modern infrastructure and when one enters this University they can see how it has molded it with itself, keeping that in mind one can say it is feasible for the most.

Scholarship is provided to bright students and even in their internships as well. For example one student in his one year internship got the accommodation paid from University itself.

Both boys and girls here have enjoyed the UPES lifestyle and safety has never been an issue here, vigilant security guards make life simple for all. Student diversity includes from north, south to east and west, people of all culture live harmoniously and blend, and knowledge is nurtured.

Hostels are mostly three bed rooms but now there are two bed and even one bed rooms with or without air conditioning, the quality of mattress, and related in the room are satisfactory and I have never heard anyone complain about the quality of living in these hostels.

Yes, alumni members show how they have been successful and how UPES acted as a bridge to get them where they are.

Exams are primarily mid semester and end semester exams, and there are continuous evaluation with class test and quiz. Sometimes it can be hectic but there is time for everyone to celebrate during the festive weeks, and the balance of it all has been maintained pretty good here.

Most of them have PhD and some have post doc as well, degrees earned nationally and internationally and when they take class , one can feel the level of knowledge that has been shared with them and it is a wonderful thing. Diverse and interdisciplinary knowledge is essential and it is seen that they have it all covered in terms of teaching and researching.
