Good - This is potential to one of the best college of nation. Bad - Few politics and its all ruined.

Appeared in CET, Punjab, I Scores the rank around 3000 odd. Looked for the college near to my Home town. Being one of the oldest institute I selected this to opt for my further studies.

As this is under PTU, the curriculum remains the same as it was for last 10 years. As most institute do, they do the same covers most of the theatrical stuff and least of the practical. Not a blame to college, but a blame to university. Now I believe this has come as deemed university, things will change and change I expect will be good.

No there is no intership program I believe. Even if is there, I belive it will be too minute to help anyone. However there are lots of quotas you can avail.

Though I was not part of campus placement as it was peak recession time, but it's not bad nor good in terms of placements. Good candidates will definitely get placements.In terms of Companies I talk Mahindra, Ford, Godrej,TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture do visit and packages can go high upto 7-8 LPA .

You need a leisure time along with studies. This is soul of the college. Many different clubs, in house competitions, photography club , poetry, dance, Skits, Cultural committee, Tech Groups what you want more. Fest do happen every year, Mass participation from guys.

Its not that expensive nor it's too cheap. Semester fees is around 35000 for Day Scholar and for hostler you can add upto 5-10K there are some other quotas applicable too that can waive off your fees. Do read there brochure and you will get all the details. They even have some schemes for scholarships.

There are few scholarships available based on your merit score. Do look for there brochure and you will get to know.

Female Ratio is higher in streams ECE, CSE IT whereas less in seems like Mech/Civil Campus life is good. You will enjoy for sure. There are lots of extra curricular activities, sports club, poetry club. Lots of things to learn and enjoy. It will be great time of life.

I am not sure how exactly it is but overall its ok types. The charges are ecnomical. I believe depending upon the rooms you choose the charges vary. Singe room costs around 8K and double occupancy is around 5K. New hostel is under construction.

Yeah they are quite helpful. Seniors do help and its always good to make connections. They will help you in longer run.

Exam structure is as usual. Exams do happen every semester. Pretty much used to system so person won't face any difficulty. Relax environment, chilled out study, fun loving people to hang out with and what you need more. Exams won't be a fear for sure.

The faculty seems to be good however still feel like either they are too old or too young the pass out students are teaching, not a good sign, however the mechanical and civil engineering are quite a good one to go. Recent times many MNC's are do coming for placements. Good Sign.
