Remarks

I love the decorum of the college and all the teachers are very supportive especially our head of the department he is a very kind and supportive guy but other peers are very competitive. The admission process is very simple and sophisticated you have to just prepare the basics of programming they don't ask for any specific programming language just basics are enough and the concept should be clear. reason for preferring the college is it ha one of the best placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had an interest in computers since I was in class 1, there is a 50: 1 faculty to student ratio, and also the teachers are very knowledgeable. All the faculties are a doctorate in their respective subjects. if you study properly no exams in this world are tough.

Placement Experience

The student becomes eligible in the 6th and 5th semester for campus placement All kind of renowned companies visit for campus placement the highest package offered was around 12 lacs and the average package offered was 2 lacs. CGPA should be above 7.5 to sit in campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little absurd coz I have never seen any colleges in this world which take fees before the semester starts so I am a little disappointed in the aspect of fee structure. If u get back in any subject it costs 2000 extra for re-examination which gets added in next semester and fee structure is something which I have not seen because my parents pay the fees

Campus Life

Never attended an annual fest but they have some good contacts and they bring in all the trending celebs all kinds of books are available in the library and all books are in a very very healthy condition so it good if you want to rent the book from the library

Interview Experience

I did not face any Group discussion as such but there was an interview where they asked a little about computers from the course of 10th and there was an aptitude test before the personal interview. I prepared from the course of 10th and basics concepts of programming.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk.
