Remarks
It's the number one undergraduate college in India because of its high-end faculty, alumni base, infrastructure. Admission is done through an entrance exam generally held in the month of June. The placement opportunities offered by the college is also a reason for preferring this college over others. The one thing that's a little on the negative side is the fierce rat race in the college to outshine others which may have a negative effect on some students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BMS because of my inclination towards the field of management. Also, the faculty members are also quite intellectual having PHDs in their respective subjects. The faculty to student ratio is quite reasonable (approximately 1: 40). Exams are held timely and are moderate to difficult.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements in their third year. A number of companies visit our college for providing job opportunities like Bain and Company, BCG, EY, McKinsey, etc. Last year, the highest package offered was 18 LPA and the average package offered was 9 LPA. I plan to get some job experience after getting my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of this particular college are very reasonable given the latest educational infrastructure provided in the college. It is rupees 14025 annually. I am yet to clear my first year but going by the previous years' results, the campus jobs would surely not disappoint.
Campus Life
The college conducts Vivante (cultural fest), hackathon (tech fest), prodigy (the biggest management fest). The library has a vast variety of books. From novels to academics, it has got everything. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned with well-maintained furniture.
