My college experience

One of the best places in India to do your MBA. One of the college which had analytics when I joined the program. It was the fastest-growing 3rd Gen IIMs. Cons- Some of the faculty are not up to the mark. Some of the guest faculty is good. There's no infrastructure. The hostel is old. Currently, it is performing its operations in Magadh University, Bihar.

The course curriculum is IIM standards. Though your major specialisation will depend upon how much of your batch wants to read that subject. Not enough number results in disqualification of the subject. If you are opting for some audit course you'll have to pay extra for that subject. Regarding faculty's, if 2-3 faculty are left rest are below par. The intake quality of students is bad too. Guest faculty are there but from the new batch, the institute is focusing on in-house faculty.

Yes, the college regularly provides internship and live projects. A summary internships is a must. And is included in the curriculum. For that also you are assisted by the college in finding one. From Crompton Greaves to startups. From 60k to zero stipend. Every sort of company visits us.

College placement is below par as for the present scenario. Half of the batch remains unplaced at the end of the year. Regarding summer placements you'll be forced to join any organisation for the summer without a stipend too. My plan after getting a degree is to land up a good job. Some of the company's which visits are big like Tata, McKinsey, Byju's, BNY. But due to covid and market slump, the placements for this season has been below par.

Fees of the institute are lowest if compared to all the IIMs. But ROI is also bad for the institute. Loan facility is available easily. Even a bank like SBI will be behind you. SC/ST scholarship from the central govt is floated each year.

There are lots of cultural activities which goes around the calendar. From Ganesh Chaturthi to Saraswati Puja. Apart from this, we have many sports and fantasy league organised by the sports committee. Once a year there's one grand cult fest. We have a very enriched e-library. But our library is too small for the time being because of no permanent campus.

Each hostel has its own mess. The mess is centrally cooked in one hostel and distributed in the rest. Food quality is at par. The menu includes both veg and non-veg options while getting admission you'll be registered in the hostel. The mess is the student-run body. For which you'll have to pay for the mess each month. There's a fair process in which college is also included, before hiring any mess.

PI was there for the admission process. For the CAP Interview, you'll be helped by the admission committee of the college. You'll be given module and mock sessions if needed. Plus you can consult any of the members of the ad com anytime. They co-operate with the aspiring students. Adcom is run by the students and is an independent body.
