As ycce is an autonomous Institute and ranked 139 in NIRF ranking the college does not pressurise students for theoretical knowledge rather than emphasise practical knowledge. Faculty -professors were PhD holders while others were recent M Tech pass outs some used to dictate notes and some used PowerPoint presentation and used to show videos for concept building and growth of students. Industrial visits are also carried out for students for better visualization. As ycce being an autonomous Institute they have there own course and senior faculty sets the exam papers so it little easy to pass the exam as whatever teacher teaches you will come in exam and only physics paper is tough as most of the students get backlogs in it. If you study regularly you will pass with flying colours.

Jobs offers are good with an average package of 4.5 LPA highest 21 LPA and a minimum of 3 LPA. The internship is rarely provided to students most students try for off-campus internships.

After 7th semester students are eligible for placement with a minimum 6.5 cgpa placement for cs it and entc are far better than other branches for call and almost 100% of students are placed with an average package of 4.5 LPA Infosys -8lpa Tcs -3 lpa Persistent-6lpa Dixon technology- 4.5 LPA Principal global-6. 5 LPA Capgemini-3.5 lpa Xoriant software-4. 8 LPA Zoho - 4 LPA Nearly 490 students are placed this year in 24 companies placement are still going on. Last year 752 students were placed in 46 companies.

The only problem lies is in the fee structure. If you belong to the General category then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 163801 per year and this fee to keep on increasing at the rate of 5% per annum. And of course with the help of Reservations. The students from OBC Category have to pay Rs 98000. And SC/ST category students have to pay 13000. And for nt/sbc/vj/tfws fees is 33366. There is a government scholarship given to students for sc/st - 19k and for nt /sbc /vj -5000.

YASH Most of the books are available in the library and the library is opened 24*7 different clubs like ACE, Firefox, IEEE, CyberSecurity, CSI, MESA, EDC, Aavishkar are in ycce you can be the part of any club whichever you are interested.
