Remarks
I am a journalism graduate from IP University. As journalism provides a plethora of opportunities, Be it electronics media to PR or even reporting on the field. I have explored it all and was sure to pursue my master's as per my plan. As a graduate from the pandemic era, I did not lose hope and applied to all the reputed institutes from St. Xavier's, Mumbai to Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. Luckily cracked both of them. But 'fate has its own plan' and I could not go further because of covid-19. One afternoon, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and found this advertisement from Hansraj college for the 'Digital Marketing Professional Course'. Without further ado, I decided to enrol and did not want to miss the chance to be part of Hansraj College. Pros-It's a full-fledged course to make you a professional digital marketer from the scratch. Cons- You might get fooled by the certifications you think you would get. Research before you apply. Otherwise, it's best for you.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well, We call ourselves an 'Experimental batch' because everything was happening for the first time and we were the first batch to witness all of it amid the pandemic. Our batch started from July 2020 but got delayed till October. As the management was dicey about the mode to access the class. However, the classes were finalized in 'offline mode' with the necessary precautions. Coming to the management, The faculty is extremely supportive and would give you the best ideas to evolve yourself in the industry. Pro Tip: Don't hesitate to put up your questions. However, the management will provide backup classes. In case you have missed it by any means.
Internships Opportunities
I did not have a great experience with internships. Though I was offered from almost 4-5 organizations through their placement cell and I got hired in each of them. But I found them 'unprofessional' and most of them were startups. Also, In the initial stage, you might get 5k-10k as a stipend. I am still looking forward to a better opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is simple and it would cost you 60,000/- INR for the duration of six months. There is no such reservation or management quota. Well coming to the placement cell, It's all about you and your skills. Opportunities would be given to you but do not expect big organizations and a big fat salary. The course that we pursued was with the collaboration of 'APAR India' and They offered some startup companies. Having said that, I had the worse experience with them as I got hired, but the staff was cheap and unprofessional. But some of the students have got decent internships as well. Note: Hansraj has also introduced the same course in 18000/- which has its own pros and cons. Research and then apply.
Campus Life
The campus is renowned and prestigious. Our classes used to conduct in one of the seminar rooms that had a projector to make our learning experience smooth. I have made some amazing friends and created some of the best memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
