Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mathematics as a tool to dwelve into futuristic specialisation options such as data. Areas of improvement for course curriculum could be that the course must include a way that makes students interested in their fields. And not focus on monthly tests and attendance pressure.
Internships Opportunities
There is no specific internship provided by college itself but College provides opportunities to enter research fields in theoretical subjects like mathematics. Students often Apply to different internship opportunities themselves.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Current fees for bachelor's in sciences is 31000/- Per annum that includes all basic and advanced expenses such as fests, sports, libraries etc. It has a rising trend as compared to previous years and a min. 15 percent rise each year.
Campus Life
Infrastructure provided is very well maintained plus development projects come periodically in a while, but takes more than usual time to be completed. Events such as fests, sports and other events take place periodically per year
Admission
I applied for Hindu college for persuing Statistics hons but the reason of rejection was high cutoff. I expected the cutoff to score around 800 marks out of 1000 in CUET, but it went as high as 850 marks. Admission process is simple and through CUET exam + clearing cutoffs and reservations quotas.
Faculty
I am not sure about faculty to student ratio but it is very clear that the number of students studying in hansraj is way more than it's capacity. There is no such faculty that i like or dislike personally, all are doing well in their positions.
Interview Experience
I entered through cuet, that was the written test that i gave, the test pattern was set by nta guidlines and is feasible to changes, must confirm if someone wants to appear, then after final scores, preference list for colleges are submitted.
Night Life
Cafeteria, canteens, library and public area is one of the most well defined and best in whole Delhi university. Hostel is currently under construction and unavailable for use. Famous hangout places include mitti cafe, lovers point, sports ground etc.
Other Applied Colleges
