The college conducts its own entrance exam. It's a one day exam which comprises of objective question from Economics.

The course curriculum has been designed in line with similar programmes offered in other universities across India. The reading list has been updates as per new policies and latest developments in the field of agriculture economics.

Interested students were offered good internships at renowned national and international organization where stipend ranged from 0 to Rs. 10,000/- per month. Here, it is also informed that not all the students were able to get internship opportunities.

The institute is known for its research and placements are not the priority. However, there are few corporates who visits the college during the placement week and offer salaries ranging between Rs. 4,00,000 per month to Rs. 9,00,000 per month. Some of the companies who visit for placements are NABARD, EXIM BANK, E Clerics, ZS Associate, BAIF, etc.

The college has its annual cultural fest named PULSE which is celebrated every year with events comprising of Dance, Singing, Treassure Hunt, etc. Besides, the college also has an academic fest name MANAN which has events on Paper Presentation, Group Discussions,etc.

Fees for the college is on a expensive side. The course Agri-economics has an annual fee of Rs. 85,000/-, which is to be paid at the beginning of the academic year itself. Besides this, students who opt for hostel facility will have to pay the hostel charges which are approximately Rs. 15,000/- per annum.The course fee is slightly expensive as compared to market standards.

Scholarships are offered to few subject toppers during the convocation ceremony. Scholarships are in form of Honorariums.

Gokhale Campus provides an excellent learning opportunities to researchers and students. The library facility at the institute has huge collection of books and research papers, which are extremelly helpful.

The institute has an alumni network, which do meet every year during the alumni meet officially organized by the institute itself. The seniors of the institute are friendly, approachable and generously helpful. The institute has a symbiotic culture amongst the seniors and the Juniors.

The college has a rich pool of experienced faculty who take up core courses of the curriculum. However, there are few guest faculty also, whose quality varies from time to time.
