Nitik's Review On Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University Of Science And Technology - [DCRUST], Sonepat

I took the JEE MAIN exam which is after 12 class. This is the exam which used to take admission in the engineering colleges. I scored 93 marks in that and 87% in 12 class.

Computer Science and Engineering is very good course. As in today scenario computers are like our partners in every field. More than 95% fields are computer based. This course tells us about the study of technology and languages related to computers like c,c++,php, java etc.

Our college does not provide internship but it allows the student after 2nd and 3rd year to do training.

Placement and job opportunities for students are good. they got the average package of about 4.5 lakhs per annum.Companies like tata consultancy and services,tech mahindra,snapdeal etc comes for placements.there is also training and placement cell for students.

There are many events held in our colleges. Like Technova, Rythm,Marathon etc. Rythm is a cultural event which is held in september or october in which many colleges participate all over the india whereas as technova is the technology based event which is held in the month march. There is also marathon of 10.5 km every year.

The fee structure is liable that neither feasible nor expensive. The fee of odd sem is about 50k and fee of the even semester is about 10 thousand. There is also fee concession for the students whose parent income is low as well as there are also scholarship for many students.

Our college provides the fee concession of about 15000 per year for students whose parents income are low. But our college does not provide the loan facility for the students but they help the students to take the educational loan from the bank.

There are total seven hostels,3 for girls and 4 for boys. The hostels are in average conditions.They are total 230-240 rooms per hostel for boys as well as girls.The mess food is average.There is a mess committee of students(10-12) in each hostel which decide the breakfast lunch as well as dinner for student.

The exam are somewhat tough. And the labs are in the good conditions as well as have every possible equipments which are required for the experiment. But working in labs are the one of the best part of the day.

The faculty of our college is very good. They are very much educated as well as experts in their fields. They are very helpful and teach every students a lot as well as they also build up the student confidence level as well as their communication link.
