A good choice for Nagpur

There are many aspects to consider while joining this college, the most basic being, the fact that it is autonomous, also, the admission process is really simple. The staff is good, and if you're looking for a good autonomous college in Nagpur, this can easily make it to the top 3. The only field where I wasn't satisfied by this college was their strictness in practical submissions. After you get your MHTCET merit list, you just have to put this college in your cap list and then visit the college once your application gets accepted, it's really simple.

I chose Information Technology because CS has been my field of interest throughout! But I was a bit short on my percentile, so I couldn't get computer science. IT, being the closest to the same field of work, was the perfect measure to take at that time. The faculty-student ratio is about 10:70 which makes it easier to convey your problems to the staff. The staff is pretty qualified, and the HOD of physics has also written a book on physics. All staff is well educated and definitely gives good vibes. Honestly, one bad aspect is the preparation gap for terminals. We only get gaps if the next part is after a Sunday or a festival holiday but then again, scoring marks is very easy because it is an autonomous college and most of the marks were covered in assignments and practicals.

Our college has a tie-up with many companies for internships and placements. It is a reputed college that attracts reputed internships like TCS. Students have also been offered pre-placement offers from internship companies. You are sure to get internship offers until and unless you mess up really bad in your practical submissions, end semesters and unit tests.

The campus placement of our college is good. Many well-known companies come for interviews and the placement is about 80-90%. Last year the highest package went to about 10 lakhs per anum. The various internship offers paid and unpaid are offered to the students in their 5th semester and from 7th sem ending or 8th sem beginning placement interviews start. Students can even get pre-placement offers from the companies that have given them internships, although, that will be for the company to decide. Companies like Byjus, TCS, Capgemini and many more.

The fee structure here is quite legitimate. No one gets a chance to say 'it's not worth this much money I think with faculty as much qualified as this, they are bound to have this much fees at least, if not more. The fees for the college is Rs1,67,610/year without a hostel, and the cost of books and exam fees and various other things is included in the fees.

The campus life is good, there is a football turf owned by the college at a distance of 2kms from the college. The college has sports teams, and most of the sports appliances are available in sports rooms. Clubs start in the second year, and there are many types of clubs. The library is always filled with useful books and study materials and classes are well equipped.

Students can get admissions through JEE, MHTCET, Management quota.
