Remarks
Had an interest in trade and IIFT is considered to be the mecca of trade in the country. In addition to this, marketing and Finance were also strong suits of the institute. This along with the rigorous admission process and placement support helped me in deciding that this is the college I would like to pursue my post-graduation from. I majorly referred to College Dunia and other websites to find out more and accurate details about different institutions. The admission process through rigorous was smooth and well managed. We had to sit for an entrance exam followed by a WAT, GD and PI conducted by the professors of the same institute.
Course Curriculum Overview
having worked in international business before so had an inclination towards the IB ( MBA ) course offered by the institute. This along with the experienced faculty, rigorous curriculum made it an obvious choice for my PG. The students ( 207 ) are divided into 4 sections of 53 students each. The teachers have been well trained for online teaching and ensure everyone's queries are resolved and optimum class participation is maintained. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. Exams are conducted timely and are usually very smooth with a few or no hiccups.
Placement Experience
we have two placement cycles for summer internships and finals placements. the highest package was 3.2 lakh and the average is 1.6 lakhs for two months. 100% placement record. Would love to work in a general management role after I graduate.
Fees and Financial Aid
With the ROI this college offers I feel that the asking fee is justified I am not aware of any scholarships as I am not eligible for the same. I am pretty satisfied with the summer placements process conducted by the institute and have received an offer more than I was expecting.
Campus Life
Quo Vadis and tradewinds are some of the fests held on the campus. I have heard the library is loaded and fully stacked nut since we are studying online. we have not accessed the same. not been to campus for all the amenities.
Interview Experience
The topic for GD was the Iran-American conflict which was prevalent during that time. 14 people in a group, everyone was given a minute for their opening statement and then the floor opened to discussion. 20 minutes were sufficient for everyone to pitch in their ideas. I read a lot of news to prepare myself.
